Ponce de Leon Towers is an oceanfront complex on New Smyrna's driving shore. Guests have access to a seasonally heated pool, direct beach access, shuffleboard courts, a community room with a pool table, and plenty of on-site parking. Nice property in a great location , on the beach! Close to restaurants and stores. Unit had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Could have been a little cleaner. Parking was easy. We would stay here again! And would recommend.

Property has great view of ocean. Nice patio. Very well decorated and clean. Plenty of linens. Easy access. We never had to worry about a key. Part of the pool had a shade a few hours in the day which was perfect to get out of the sun. We had a great time.

Thankful for this VRBO on Thanksgiving

We're in the middle of a complete kitchen renovation so decided to spend Thanksgiving in NSB. Thankfully we found this wonderful condo in the Ponce de Leon towers. Everything about our stay was ideal. Perfect size and location, nicely decorated with a great view of the ocean and beach. We rented a golf cart for our stay and just zipped right over to Flagler etc when we wanted. Despite our house being in shambles this was one of the best Thanksgivings ever!

Great location, very clean spacious, well equipped with a fantastic view of the ocean, beach and sunrise! We will be back! Just don't forget the toilet paper, trash bags, hand towels and facecloths because they are not provided! But we managed!!

Fourth of July Stay

Overall great trip. Condo was just as listed. My only complaint is there was no information regarding the parking situation. One parking spot is guaranteed and should you bring another car, additional parking is first come first serve in the guest area. A parking pass is needed in order to guarantee your vehicle is not towed. We had no trouble parking but since we arrived after the office had closed, it would have been helpful to have the parking information in advance.

Lovely View, Location, Condo

This was a lovely, well kept property right on the beach in a perfect location for New Smyrna Beach. This is our third year returning to the area, and in regard to proximity to restaurants/gas stations/stores, this is our favorite location. While I typically prefer to be on a no driving beach, going in an off peak time was perfect and there were never too many people driving on or even set up on the beach during our stay. The access to the beach and pool is super simple from the elevators. I do wish there was a laundry room in the condo itself, but there is a laundry area located on each floor which is nice. The space was perfect for our party of 7 (4 adults, 2 kids). The beds were comfortable and the place was well stocked with all bathroom/kitchen necessities. Also was thrilled with how many beach chairs/toys were available. Would absolutely stay here again if going to NSB during off peak days!

Classy, comfy and close to ocean!

Excellent stay. Clean, well appointed condo. We have stayed in other units here, but so far, this is our favorite. Only minor complaints: plenty of dish rags in kitchen but only two dish towels. Since there is no dish drainer, a few more towels would have been nice. not enough wash cloths and hand towels in bathrooms. Plenty of bath towels and nice quality. Bed in master bedroom quite hard....understand the owners are considering replacing the mattress. No need for that...just a 2-3 inch memory foam/gel topper would suffice. I folded two thin quilts and used those under the mattress cover, and was quite comfortable after that (at least my husband said I slept well!). The sheets were soft, well laundered, white and felt sooo good! Nothing like old soft cotton sheets. There was a wonderful fan-on-a-stand in bedroom too...for extra breeze, although there are ceiling fans in both bedrooms. Overall, quite nice, and we have already booked a return visit.

Nice but older building

Great location. The unit is well equipped for a beach vacation rental. Ona negative note be aware that the building is older. For example, We were advised that we could not use our kitchen dishwasher and garbage disposal for a few days while repairs were underway for a unit on a lower floor. One of two elevators was not available for several days. Other than theses issues we enjoyed our stay. Be advised that pets will not be permitted in 2023. It was one reason we chose this property.

Quick getaway destination

Property was pretty much as described. Ocean view is a side view but creates a nice long view of the beach. Easy beach access. I will say that the beach is NOT dog friendly so don't get fooled that just b/c the condo is dog friendly that you can take them to the beach. This was a huge surprise to us and we would have left dog at home (and saved $$) if we'd known this. Short drive to Flagler Ave for restaurants, etc. but also some great ones nearby. Would stay here again.
