The Barn Apartment Hideaway is a nice place to stay. Has everything you would need to have a comfortable getaway. The owners were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place.
Lovely and comfortable stay in convenient location
My daughter and I spent a weekend at this lovely rental in Washington Depot for a Gilmore Girls themed trip. The location was excellent for exploring the area, and our hostess was attentive and provided a safe, clean, and comfortable home base. Highly recommend.
My brother and I had grown up in the area and were back visiting old friends. The location and the accommodations were perfect and convenient to everything in the area. Kathy, the host, was very responsive to texts. Highly recommend!
We loved our stay. The apartment and the setting are beautiful. The host is easy to reach, though we didn't need a thing. Everything was there for us. Highly recommend.
The rental was bright and airy. All the beds were cozy, and the setting was beautiful! We enjoyed a weekend visiting area garden centers and visiting Elephant’s Trunk flea market! Thank you Kathy and Bruce!
My daughter and I went up for just the night to view the changing leaves and shop around the quaint towns in the area. The barn was the perfect spot to do all of these things and both of us just loved the location and rustic charm of the barn. Everything was up to date and as described - including some fresh cream in the fridge for my morning tea - perfect touch!
I am a real estate agent with Sotheby's and my husband is an attorney. We love the town of Washington and enjoy the local amenities such as the Lake Waramaug, Steep Rock hiking trails, biking, shopping and tennis.
