The Hope House at Victory Ranch is an Atlanta designer decorated, custom built Craftsman style home laced with gorgeous custom millwork all throughout. The home exudes the warmth you would feel from a high end luxury solid wood chalet in the mountains with the fire crackling as you enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the night. With luxurious finishes from top to bottom, enjoy being nestled amongst 88 acres in the Persimmon Valley of Clayton Georgia.

This cottage boasts 15-25 foot ceilings throughout the entire home. Chic features such as a stone fireplace, Viking appliances, Waterworks fixtures throughout entire home and "His & Hers" oversized bathtubs, this rustic, warm and secluded cottage is sure not to disappoint even the most discerning of guests. Great for a couple or two, a family of four or a parent/child weekend getaway trip.

This one story house includes:
* Comfortable leather couches and love seats settled next to a custom stone fireplace (wood provided)
* Indoor breakfast nook that sits four (4) as well as an outdoor "al fresco" patio table that sits four (4)

Please note that it is mandatory that the main guest who makes the booking. must provide a copy of their valid Drivers License as well as sign a lease agreement that we provide to all of our guests with a wet signature and kindly scan it back to us. It is of paramount importance that we do what we do with excellence and cover all bases for the protection of both the Owner and the Guest (s). Your safety and the quality of your experience is very important to us!

Downtown Clayton has become the "trendiest" city in North Georgia. "Fortify" restaurant is a MUST! They have the best food in town. A great place for Sunday Brunch is "The Red Barn." "White Birch Provisions" is the best coffee shop in town. If you are looking for the tastiest pizza, head to "Fortify Pi" and if you are looking for fresh made doughnuts that melt in your mouth, "Farmhouse Donuts" is the place to go.

There is an app called "All Trails" that shows every trail in the area along with the ability to search from beginner hikes to advanced, what you may need along with approximated time and details you would need before planning a hike.

Victory Ranch is exactly ten (10) minutes from downtown Clayton, where fabulous dining and shopping can be found. We are ten (10) minutes from the stunning Lake Burton also known as "Little Lake Como."


We are 20 minutes away from the popular wedding destination, Julep Farms. We are 10 minutes away from the Club at Waterfall- another popular wedding and private event venue.

Looking for a day trip to Highlands, NC? We are forty-five (45) minutes away. Cashiers, NC? We are one (1) hour away. Want to visit The Biltmore Estate in Asheville, too a hip city for great shopping and antiques? We are an hour (1) and 20 minutes away. Are you a foodie looking to hit Ponce City Market or the Georgia Aquarium (the largest aquarium in the world, second to Marine Life Park in Singapore) for a day trip to Atlanta? We are two (2) hours away.

Perfect cottage in the woods

Beautiful, well built, exquisitely decorated and positioned on a picturesque piece of land. Highlights are the stunning bathroom and the awesome front porch swing. The beds are super comfy! I loved everything about this property and hated to leave.

We loved our weekend here. Cabin and grounds are beautiful. I’m a big fan of real fireplaces and bathtubs, and this cabin delivered beautiful versions of both. The kitchen is not ideal for serious cooking and it’s 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom, so probably not ideal for any more than a couple people, but worked out perfect for us. And Clayton is a lovely little town.

Relaxing Mountain Retreat

The Hope House is a spectacular mountain retreat. Everything you need for a luxurious stay is included. The grounds of Victory Ranch are immaculately maintained. Sitting on the porch and enjoy the quiet and beautiful surroundings was one of the favorite parts of our day. We can not wait to return to this amazing location.

Weekend Getaway

It was beautiful inside and out - just like the pictures! We did not have cell phone reception while on the property or going around the curvy mountain roads but that just made it an even quieter weekend. Very relaxing. We did have service on main roads and in downtown Clayton and Dillard area. Enjoyed pizza at Fortify Pi and had delicious meal at BlueHound BBQ in Dillard. It all made for a wonderful birthday celebration!

Wonderful Escape

A windy road leading to serenity in the valley. This place was a great escape for my family and I. The house was very clean, well maintained, quiet, and just as described in post. The quiet is great. My daughter loved the deer, turtles, and fireflies that were on property. We will be back sooner than later, as we fell in love with the area. Thanks!

Beautiful cottage on a picturesque property.

My daughter and I loved our getaway at this charming, beautifully decorated cabin. It was perfect. One thing I would recommend is to note that we had zero cell service when trying to get into the property, so could not look up the instructions or directions on line for the gate code, etc. we recommend instructions to print the directions and take a screen shot of the codes to get in. We loved this property and can’t wait to come back!

Excellent Property & Gracious Hosts

Stayed here for a long weekend to escape the city and celebrate my fiancé’s birthday. The property was so peaceful and spacious. We had a wonderful time enjoying the early autumn weather and walking the grounds in the mornings with our coffee. The house was incredibly tidy, comfortable and so well-equipped. The hosts have truly thought of everything. We experienced excellent communication leading up to and during our stay. We could not have asked for more. Can’t wait to return!!

Beautiful property!!!

I’m a licensed general contractor and came in town to visit some clients and decided to bring my wife along and share with her this amazing place. Photos and reviews do not do this justice. These homes are extremely well manicured with a lot of attention to detail in the design, construction, and decor. We really enjoyed the large bathroom and the front porch as it put us both in a complete state of relaxation. The property is extremely tranquil and offers an amazing feeling of being away from anything with extremely luxury amenities that are sure to make you feel at home. We will definitely be coming back to stay in one of the other homes.

Beautiful property

From the moment we drove through the private gates we were amazed by the beauty of the rolling property, stream running through it, vines and a fire pit at the top of the hill. We felt like we were in another country. We forget how beautiful our own backyard is. We followed up the hill to our house and passed by the a beautiful natural garden. The stone house was even more impressive then the pictures. The finishes and furnishings were high quality and it felt like home. Every detail to the inspirational decorations around the home spoke to our family and made our trip very special. My wife and daughter enjoyed the tubs after a long hike one day. Their laughter filled the house as they bonded together. We are grateful to the host for opening up such an incredible property. One last point I would like to make is the location of this house to downtown Clayton and the best hiking in the country was perfect. Everything felt close.

Peace and Quiet

The cottage had everything one needs to make it through a weekend get-away. The entire property is well maintained and I would not mind returning again. The surrounding area has plenty of things to do to fill up a day of excursions. We hiked, shopped in the local stores, and ate out to get a taste of the area.

If you are looking for peace and quiet or a location from which to visit local attractions, Hope House is a great alternative. It does need a bit of TLC and I'm hopeful that this will be taken care of soon since this house is a real treasure. Currently the garden is not in shape to be used, but the front porch is wonderful to relax on and there's a terrific swing. There is 1 bedroom with 2 queen beds so make sure that's acceptable for your situation. It was a great place to relax.

Perfection!

Had a girls’ trip. Spent 2 nights. The place we stayed was very important because we wanted to stay home, visit and chat - coffee on the porch, cocktails on the porch, supper on the patio, nightcap on the porch. This property was perfect for that. We ate lunch in Clayton on Day 1 and hiked Day 2 and Day 3. We ate all our other meals at home since we planned our meals for simplicity and using summer’s bounty. The home was well-equipped and so fun to experience, because of the luxurious touches, the quality of the home and all of the finishes that completed the sense of place. The property is large, quiet and pastoral with so many places to walk, explore and relax. Since we didn’t even “do” Clayton, we’re planning to come back. Next time for 4 nights!

As family who sent their kids to YMCA Camp High Harbour on Lake Burton for many years, Clayton, GA became a summer staple where we would visit. Many years later, we decided to return to the lake for a nostalgic trip down memory lane and while enjoying a fabulous Sunday Brunch at "The Red Barn at Tiger Mountain Vineyards" we stumbled upon a newly listed vineyard for sale. Within a few months time, my family acquired "The Vineyards at Persimmon Creek" and re-named it "Victory Ranch" and "The Cottages at Victory Ranch." Unfortunately, the vines had died due to a lack of care and some harsh winters, and with it, the vineyard, tasting room and bottling center were no longer. However, the legacy remained.. My family and dear friends of ours have enjoyed "The Cottages at Victory Ranch" for many years. It has been a tranquil place for healing, relaxation and contemplative silence. Whether its listening to the low hum of the creek or watching butterflies dance in the garden, this land has made its home in our hearts and it is our joy to share it with you. We pray that you know you are so WELCOMED here! May you enjoy all that "The Cottages at Victory Ranch" have to offer.

This property was previously owned by a family who ran "Persimmon Creek Vineyards" which was a fully operating vineyard, tasting room and bottling facility, along with offering a "Bed & Breakfast" Sonoma-style experience with three (3) custom curated individual, private cottages for guests to stay in while experiencing the "day to day" of a working vineyard. They are named The "Hope, Joy and Grace" Houses. "The Hope House" can be found to the left when you pull up to the drive, and is settled amongst a rotunda with the two other cottages surrounding an English garden and trellis that provides a beautiful seating area for four (4) and an outdoor stone grill for the chef looking to grill under the stars. "The Joy House" is the the right when you come up the drive (The Joy House VRBO#1652322). The Joy and Hope houses are walking distance from each other. Great for friends and family that want to travel together but each have their own home. Between the two (2) cottages, a total of 8 guests can be accommodated.
