Elegant stone house, entirely private, located 50 m from the public garden for up to 6 people.
Ideal location, to discover on foot (900 m from the place of comedy) the main tourist attractions, while enjoying the soul of a neighborhood life (near shops Chartrons)
All the charm of yesteryear is highlighted: parquet, molding, fireplaces; completely renovated in April 2018 with quality services (hotel bedding with memory foam 21 cm)

Spread over 3 levels, it includes:
- a ground floor with an entrance, a living room with TV lounge, dining room and a fully equipped kitchen (induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, nespresso, toaster, kettle) )
- on the 1st floor: a parental suite (bed 160 X 200 cm) with room of water (shower, double basin, dressing), toilets.
- on the 2nd floor: a bedroom (bed 140 X 200 cm); a second room with 2 beds of 90 X 190 cm; bathroom with shower ; toilets.


100 m from the tram line C (place Paul Doumer) which will lead you in the hypercentre in 4 minutes (Place des Quinconces); this same line serves the exhibition center (Vinexpo, convention center, Bordeaux stadium) as well as the Bordeaux Saint-Jean train station (15 minutes).

This beautiful home was perfect for our family of 5 adults to explore Bordeaux for the first time. Matthieu was helpful with advice on travel plans, restaurants, shops and sights. Easy walking distance from excellent restaurants and shops, close to tram too. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Prime location, "bohemian decor" heaven, best hosts!

My husband and I enthusiastically recommend a stay at this Bordeaux townhouse. Aude-Marie was an extraordinary host, taking about an hour to introduce us to the features of the house, and most importantly giving us invaluable information on Bordeaux, complete with annotated maps. Awesome! The neighborhood seemed extremely safe, with lots of families. The home was only a block from the gorgeous public garden. The townhouse was built in the late 1800s, and is obviously a portion of what was once a grand mansion. Your hosts have lovingly crafted a three bedroom dwelling within the restrictions of the old building. As noted in other reviews, it is on three high-ceilinged levels, connected by a lovely spiral staircase. Take note if you have mobility issues or if this would be an issue for children in your group. As noted in other reviews, each toilet is in a separate little room of its own. The one for which it's impossible to shut the door was not a problem for us, as it opens into a small hallway of which the doors can be shut at either end. I loved the hosts' aesthetic, mixing the bones of the old house with eclectic furnishings. Great modern bath fittings, lovely bedding, art on the walls reflecting the best of Bordeaux. The hosts even arranged neighborhood parking for us for a small fee.

Perfect for a long weekend

Ideal location near the beautiful park and short easy walk to the tram. The house is very comfortable with stylish mix of modern decoration and period features. Two excellent shower rooms. Two toilets but the second one is very small. The local area has loads of good bars and restaurants. The hosts were very helpful and welcoming and took the time to give us some great tips on things to see and do. Thank you for a great stay!

The house was just like the pictures, well outfitted and conveniently located to central Bordeaux via foot, tram and bus. There were nearby shops and restaurants. The owners were very responsive before and during the trip, and very helpful with recommendations and general guidance. We'll certainly look to stay here again the next time we visit Bordeaux.
