About this property

The property is a sophisticated cabin with artful furnishings. A place of peace and beauty to watch the light and clouds changing the view of the mountains, both from indoors and out. A place we love to be for a time of peace and renewal. All of the front windows have a beautiful view of the mountains in the distance. The field in front is often populated with cows, donkeys, deer and turkey. In May and June it is filled with fireflies.

Charming Cabin

Cabin was as described and pictures were accurate. Peaceful location with great views including some wildlife (deer, turkey). Great getaway for a super reasonable price. Even though there was no air conditioning and property description shares this fact - with the windows open and fans circulating temperate was comfortable (visit was mid-June).

Weekend Getaway

Cabin was clean. Views of nature and the doe and her 2 fawns were mesmerizing. Have to drive a distance to do anything. We did not get much sleep due to the poor mattress. No cable and the television had no remote and was of smaller size. DVDs provided, but would have liked more up to date movies and maybe add some comedies. There were a few spiders we had to kill in the bathroom and near the bed in the bedroom which made it even more difficult to sleep. We do recommend Homeplace Brewery about 12 miles away in Burnsville. Great atmosphere, beer and food.
