Nancy was an amazing host throughout the entire booking process and over the duration of our stay. After arriving to the house, we were granted access to anything in the house that wasn’t locked away- this included use of firewood, of which we used plenty.
The house itself was exactly something I could see myself owning as a vacation home. The open loft concept felt like summer camp with much more comfortable beds. The kitchen was fully stocked with the pots and pans we needed to cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Outside, there was plenty of space for all different types of backyard games, a grill, and the fire pit was obviously a huge hit. Also, there was an incredible view of the stars that we all gazed upon in awe.
A 5 minute walk from the house lead us to the lake/beach shared by some of the surrounding residents. On the last day of our stay we were invited to join in on a community cookout and raffle, which we readily accepted. Next year we will definitely be contributing some of our own food!
Overall, all 12 of us adults between the ages of 25-30 had a great time together for 4th of July weekend. We always felt welcomed by the people we encountered and the house was deep enough in the woods that we could be as loud as we wanted to be without bothering anyone else. I did not want to leave this place and will definitely come back next year...thanks again Nancy!!
