Montelago Village is just 25 mins from the action of the famous Las Vegas Strip, yet it offers serenity and beauty. An ideal venue for a family celebration, anniversary, wedding, or business retreat.This is a very exclusive resort with a 320 acre manmade Lake surrounded by beautiful mountains. The are with the lake and village is a perfect place for entertainment, relaxation and dining. Lake Las Vegas offers plenty of outdoor

entertainment including fishing, sailing, kayaking, boating and swimming at the 320 acre Lake. Almost unlimited recreational activities are nearby including skydiving, river rafting, helicopter tours of Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon, hummer tours, hiking, mountain biking, jet skis, water skiing, ATV's and sightseeing. The desert terrain home to nearby Lake Mead, Red Rock Canyon, and the Valley of Fire, all of which feature a variety of historical and geological phenomenon found nowhere else. Within the Lake Las Vegas community you can enjoy fine dining, entertainment in the Montelago Village on the lake.

This condo is spacious and comfortable! So nice to have underground parking during the Vegas heat. The pools were lovely with plenty of lounges to relax in. We enjoyed the balcony for sipping morning coffee and after dinner wines. Just a couple minutes walk to restaurants, grocery store and the lake. Some issues: The code we were provided to the pool gates was incorrect but I was able to get the correct code from the front desk. We had issues connecting to the wifi and it took the host hours to get back to us. She didn’t respond via the VRBO messaging so I used the phone number she provided. There were small amounts of mold in the shower and although there was shampoo and conditioner provided there was no body soap. The Lake Las Vegas location is a 20-30 minute drive from Las Vegas proper. The distance makes this condo a great, relaxing place to get away from the hustle of Vegas but also means you need to have a car and allow extra travel time to do any sightseeing to Vegas attractions.

Access was easy… it was very clean… we really enjoy the relaxing feel of the property, it was quiet and very enjoyable. We really enjoyed the pool.. the grocery store was great and we went there multiple times ate their deli sandwiches one day they were great. Walking around the village was a lot of fun we went to the pub all three nights we were there… we will definitely come back!

Overall the stay was very good. Some of the things we found were that there were no dish cloths for the kitchen to wash dishes by hand. Some of the silverware was a little dirty and needed cleaning. The parking pass was great. We did not have to look for a parking place as one was available every day. The location of the unit was very convienient and beautiful. We had a great stay and would rent this property again. Anuk was a good host.

Why they chose this property

This unit is super clean. Its on the lobby level, so no elevator needed, unless you come up from the parking garage. It has a nice large balcony with a beautiful view of the garden and the pool. It is a shaded balcony, except for one hour in the day. Perfect!
