Located in the heart of a forest, halfway between Aix en Provence and Marseille, the airport and TGV train stations - 20 minutes each - Domaine Villa Martin solves an impossible equation: being at the gates of cities and touristic sites, while being in absolute calm in a preserved frame. A rare place.

From the village, after 1.5 kilometers of dust track that meanders through the wood, you reach this confidential and authentic place, where time seems to have stopped. All around, the wild scrubland over several thousand hectares. From the huge terraces, it is hard to believe that we are a stone's throw from the old port or Cours Mirabeau. Civilization, so close, does not get along.

The manor is old but it is maintained to welcome the guests all the year in a current comfort. The mansion is (well) heated in winter, and all the 7 bedrooms are air conditionned in summer. The equipment and the furniture are elements of time or of beautiful invoice, but without ostentation, and a neat decoration contributes to the poetry of the places.

The 6 bedrooms (from 15 to 25m2) are all spacious and 4 have a balcony / terrace with views. The double bedding, all 160x200, provide excellent comfort. 2 large bathrooms, one with shower 180, the other with double bath.

The 7th bedroom is located in the caretaker's house, 50 meters from the manor house. Completely refurbished keeping its stones and its old tiles, it has its own bedroom, bathroom, kitchen area. It brings a little more comfort and intimacy. It is useful to house a couple of teenagers or seniors, or a housekeeper (nanny or any other accompanying person).

The 15-meter pool is heated from early May to late September. It is located in an independent area with its own terrace and arbor. Its flat bottom allows all ages to enjoy as well as ball games, while athletes can do lengths. South, it is very sunny, sheltered from the prevailing winds by one of the hills of the domain. The safety of children has received our full attention with a barrier and a safety gate.
The heating can save 3 to 5 ° for bathing water, and thus be less dependent on the weather. It allows to enjoy the pool earlier (early May) and later (late September). In summer, it guarantees a constant and pleasant temperature even in windy conditions.

Privatization / intimacy =
The entire domain is privatized for you, without sharing places or joint ownership. No sharing with other vacationers than those in your group. The first neighbor is 2 km away and you will not bother anyone if you linger late at night on the terrace. On the contrary, everything is planned to take advantage of the area, forgetting the constraints of time and neighborhood, with pleasant ambient lighting to extend the evenings. Terrace, swimming pool, bowling alley, hammock area and ping pong table, are judiciously lit to enjoy H24 if it sings you.

Walks / forest =
From the property, many walks wind through the mountains to the hills of Marcel Pagnol, a famous provence writer, with views of the sea to Mont Ventoux, through the Ste Victoire. The massif of Etoile, which is located between Aix and Marseille, offers a wonderful playground for hikers / joggers or mountain bikers. Typically Mediterranean, it is home to many wild species and rises to 650 meters. In addition, it is preserved from mass tourism and still little used. But that, do not say it (!!) ...
