Updated nice condo in Shelter Cove with two bedrooms and two baths. What a great location to walk to all the amenities in Shelter Cove. Very nice 2 BR condo with updated floors, new living room furniture, new TVs, new master bedroom furniture and more. Updated luxury master bath to relax after a nice day at the beach. Palmetto Dunes offers beach access and miles of bike paths. What a very nice condo for your family vacation. Your vacation rental includes bike rentals and beach gear with your stay. 7453 Anchorage is professionally managed and operated by Hilton Head Vacations, Inc, a locally owned company.

Master bedroom has a king size bedroom with en suite master bath. Master bedroom has nice TV and sitting area. Master bath shower is wonderful with walk in glass shower to enjoy. The guest room has a queen size bed with full bath only steps away. What a nice fold out couch in the living room which will bring you a total of six people sleeping capacity. Kitchen is fully stocked with Keurig coffee maker, toaster, blender and more to make any meal for the family. Silverware, glasses dishes and plates are all provided. Starter kits with laundry, paper towels and toilet paper all provided at no charge. Free wifi is included for your internet access. Anchorage has a community pool and grill area.

Great property! We enjoyed our stay. Amenities are great. Condo could be cleaner - kitchen floor needs replaced and balcony floor needs help. Stains on carpet and furniture. But we were traveling with kids not looking for perfection. Enjoyed our stay and appreciated the stay extension.

Good Decision

Overall we were very happy with this property. The location and unit were great except the jetted tub in the main bath could not be used because the drain did not seal and the tub/shower diverter did not work. The shower also needs a grab bar because it's hard to get in and out of. I'm glad we came during the daylight because the unit was hard to find with unit numbers barely discernable. We also had an issue with the tv that the manager quickly took care of.

Overall fine stay

All good. Need to note only 2 TV's work. The one in 2nd bedroom does only DVD player. I call manager office and they confirmed. The reading materials say all 3 are on Roku. Not do. Also needs more kitchen furnishings like blender, pots and pans, etc. Just used to more things like that. Also saw several roaches alive. Okay when dead but need spray. Still overall very good stay.

The Homeowners Association sprays every month. Yes, we have Palmetto Bugs in Hilton Head, but we do spray every month. It is required by the HOA. Glad you had a good time, we look forward to having you back. Thank you, Hilton Head Vacations

Very disappointed with stay

I stayed here with my husband and my teenage daughter because we previously stayed in this complex less than 2 years ago and loved it. Unfortunately, this unit was not as good as the last one! The master bed was so uncomfortable it felt like you were sleeping on springs, it definitely needs to be replaced! Also, the unit smelled like dogs or smoke and both things are supposed to be prohibited. There was dog hair on the couches and on the floor so I know someone had animals with them. We had problems connecting to wifi when we first got there so my husband called the number for property management and he said the guy was kind of rude to him. We were so very disappointed in this unit that we will make sure to stay in a different one next time!

Needs Attention

I was told when I reserved it had been renovated, it has not. It is a great location and the porch is the saving grace. Bedroom 2 TV did not work. The kitchen is dated and aesthetically unattractive; the utensils, cookware and dishes look like they came from Goodwill. The carpet was stained and the washer/dryer appear to have been purchased many years ago. It is a shame that this property is not better cared for, it has such good bones and space. Renovating this unit would be a dream! Beth McDowell

Needs Attention

The property itself was not terrible. However, it’s not as big as the pictures make it out to be. When we arrived, only a few of the overhead lights worked. Most bulbs were burned out. I called Robert to inform him. He said he would send someone the next day. He was somewhat upset that he wasn’t aware of this. I understand his frustration, but it came across as angry with me. After we got settled, I attempted to cook dinner, only to find the kitchen was seriously lacking anything we needed. I was literally trying to slice potatoes on a dinner plate with a butter knife. I texted him at this point and explained that I was willing to pay for the night but we needed to figure out what to do. He stated we could leave in the morning and he would refund my entire cost. Well, it’s been two weeks and I’m still waiting.

Great location!

Condo was nice for the overall price/accommodations. The king size mattress felt hard, worn out and I could feel springs. The mattress in other bedroom was excellent tho! Kitchen needs some updating but we didn’t use it so it wasn’t an issue OTHER than the constant 1 minute beep coming from the microwave. Couldn’t figure out how to turn it off. I didn’t call and ask management either because I was just lazy. Overall a nice , quiet place!!

Nice place for the price

The view was nice, and the master bed and bath were very nice! The kitchen was not renovated, and not the best for cooking! With all the restaurants close by, we ate out most nights. Overall it was a great space for us and within our budget!

Shelter Cove condo

The location of this unit is nice. Walkable area, middle of island, easy to find, easy to park. The property is a combination of updated and old. Overall maintenance of the property was not good. Outside patio was very dirty and needed maintained. Fans and lights were not all operable. Some rooms and furniture were fine and others not at all. Dead plants outside front door that needed to be tossed. The positive is the space is a nice layout along with the location.

Great location to marina, wonderful pool area, beautiful lush greenery, all the comforts of home.

Definitely recommend to couples or family of four.. shower in master is awesome. Only issue we had is the balcony, which is very nice had lots of leaves on the floor. I get it as it is open sir but it was like this when we checked in. I would have thought the cleaning crew would have swept it out before our arrival. Also, the front entry way tile and kitchen tile are dated and chipped and kitchen tile seemed somewhat sticky. I did contact management about these two issues and was told I could get a broom and sweep it. Overall the unit was clean, updated and comfortable. And would highly recommend.

My Experience was great ! Condo was comfortable ,clean . My only issue was the dishwasher did not work. And it took me a whole day to figure out the guest bedroom only used Netflix and hulu etc.. Other then that It's a great community and place to stay if you want a quiet friendly atmosphere. Will book again.

Pros and Cons

Great price. Super close to Shelter Cove shopping and restaurants. Far from beach. Great biking. Don't expect to cook anything...in fact, don't even open a cabinet or drawer or you'll be completely shocked by the filth. Master mattress needs replacing. Guest bedroom mattress was excellent.

Perfect Vacation

This condo is exactly what was advertised. Very nice and accommodating, close to the pool. Super clean, zero bugs seen inside. I don’t have a single complaint from our stay. Short Get a Way

The condo was very nice and in a quite area. However it was definitely a little further from the beach than I was told when I called to book. And difficult to find with address given. But beautiful area and nice walking paths throughout. Enjoyed the area. It was very convenient to everything needed. Condo was gorgeous and peaceful. Kitchen could have been better stocked and organized. Dune Buggy service was wonderful to have at Shelter Cove.

We had a great time here! The condo was very spacious and clean. The view was great. Location is very convenient to Palmetto Dunes and to shopping & restaurants in Shelter Cove. The Dunes Buggy shuttled us to the beach every day for free. We used the pool one after6and it was not crowded at all. The condo has been nicely updated. I would highly recommend staying here!

Fantastic Little Condo For The Family

This condo is the perfect set up for a family or multi-family getaway. The property was clean, comfortable, and safe. The master bedroom is impressive and the master shower is fantastic! The kitchen is well placed for entertaining and the patio allowed for evenings of relaxation once the heat died down. Great little get-a-way condo with fantastic neighbors and close to everything on the island! Would love to stay here again next year when we come back!
