This bright apartment is very quiet because it is located in a courtyard of the Bastille. You will not be bothered by the noise of the street. But if you leave the courtyard you find yourself in one of the trendiest streets of Bastille-Roquette: many bars, restaurants, clubs but also theaters, art galleries, cosplay shops, ... Located at the first floor, the apartment overlooks the courtyard. You will find on the spot a fully equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, ...) and a washer-dryer. The bed in the room is equipped with a 20 cm queen-size mattress. The sofa bed is also a real double bed, wide and very comfortable!

Great location! Close to subway, lots of local shops, bakeries and Cafés.

This was our first time to Paris and we have no comparatives. The apartment is a short walk from the Bastille metro stop and we were able to easily get to all of the big tourist attractions. The location is great if you want a true Paris experience. The local population appears to be younger in their 20s and 30s. There are Patisseries, Boulangeries, Cafés and little shops everywhere. The Cafés come alive in the early evening and stay alive we’ll into he night. The apartment faces into a lovely courtyard with lots of potted plants and some outdoor furniture. There were a few nights of noisy neighbour activity (we were there for 7 nights) which made it hard to sleep. It was hot when we were there and we had to shut the windows to try to block out the noise which made it very hot and stuffy in the apartment. There was one fan that wouldn’t stand up on its own. A couple tall ones would have been better. We had our kids (ages 9 and 11) with us and based on the evening activity we maybe wouldn’t recommend for younger families although they did have fun with the kitties in the courtyard. The apartment was reasonably clean with the exception of the washing machine which had some mould in the soap dispenser so we didn’t use it. The kitchen had the essentials including some oil and spices which was greatly appreciated. We didn’t use the dishwasher. The bathroom appears to have recently been upgraded although the doorknob to the bathroom was missing. The bed was super comfy which was fantastic! The pull out couch was probably as good as a pullout gets. The owner was very accessible and helpful with some local recommendations for groceries and restaurants. I think whoever stays here will have a good experience!

L'appartement est idéalement situé, dans un quartier très animé (les petits bistrots sympas ne manquent pas), avec toutes les commodités au pied du logement. Celui-ci se trouvant dans une cour intérieure très fraîche, il n'y a aucune nuisance sonore et la température est agréable. Le métro est à 2 pas. (Bastille) Propreté irréprochable et accueil chaleureux, modalités d'arrivée et de départ très flexibles, nous recommandons cette location !

Appartamento comodo, silenzioso, fornito di tutto il necessario, in pieno centro città. Tre stazioni metro nel giro di cinque minuti a piedi e fermata bus dietro l'angolo. Commerci, ristoranti e bar sotto casa. Bel mercato in zona. A piedi si raggiungono facilmente punti d'interesse turistico come Place des Vosges, île St. louis, île de la Cité, Ho apprezzato la possibilità di effettuare il check-out entro le ore 14.00. Aggiungerei le tende oscuranti nella stanza dove si trova il divano letto. Magnifica esperienza!

Great rental, with great location!

My husband and I (both retired) wanted to experience Paris like Parisians. This apartment fit the bill. We loved the neighborhood, with the restaurants and bakeries, grocery stores, close proximity to the Bastille metro station, etc. We slept like babies in the comfortable bed and quiet apt., after walking the streets of Paris and steps in the metro stations! Very safe, clean, and roomy. Would definitely stay again, if we were lucky enough to be in Paris again.

Pour notre séjour en famille à 4, nous avons beaucoup apprécié cet appartement pour sa situation, sa taille et son calme. L'équipement est simple mais suffisant. Seul bémol, le couchage supplémentaire du convertible vraiment pas terrible à 2.Je recommande quand même ce logement.

Posizione ideale e comoda al centro

Appartamento molto comodo per visitare Parigi, a pochi minuti a piedi da Piazza della Bastiglia e da 3 diverse metropolitane, una fermata di autobus a pochi passi che porta direttamente in centro. Affaccia su un cortile interno molto carino. Zona sempre viva anche la sera con locali, negozi, pasticceria proprio di fronte e market a pochi passi. Letto molto comodo, divano letto ampio e comodo. Cucina dotata di tutto (microonde, forno elettrico, lavastoviglie e lavatrice). Luis Emmanuel e la fidanzata Roberta ci hanno hanno accolto nella loro casa e fatto sentire come a casa nostra, il fatto poi che parlassero italiano ha facilitato molto tutte le comunicazioni. Consiglio solo di aggiungere un paio di sedie (magari pieghevoli che stanno in poco spazio) così quando soggiornano 4 persone come noi, ci si può sedere tutti insieme (noi abbiamo fatto colazione a turno, ma non è stato un problema). Anche la vasca da bagno risulta un po' scomoda per chi è abituato alla doccia, ma per pochi giorni ci si può adattare (magari aggiungendo un bastone con una tenda scorrevole rende possibile fare la doccia senza bagnare fuori).

Nice apartment

We enjoyed our stay. The place was clean, quiet and had everything listed on the home page list. The apartment faces into a beautiful courtyard, it was very quiet. We stayed at another location on a busy street and we preferred the quiet courtyard. Both beds were comfortable. The owner responded quickly to our text messages. The apartment was walking distance to two Metro stations: Voltaire and Bastille. We went to a very nice outdoor market on the Sunday at the Bastille and had amazing crapes. It is walking distance to the Cemetery Pere Lachaise where you can visit the Tombe of Jim Morrison. We would stay here again. Like most locations they had a couple small grocery stores near by. Keep in mind the location allows pets. They keep the apartment clean, I did not have any allergic reactions (I have mild allergy to cats).

Très contente de mon choix

Je ne regrette pas d'avoir choisi l appartement de Louis Emmanuel pour notre sejour de 4 jours en famille. L'appartement est conforme à la description, bien équipé, propre et calme. Aucun problème pendant ce séjour. Le réel plus pour nous : des heures de depart et d'arrivée hyper flexibles, c'est d'ailleurs l'un des points qui m a convaincue de choisir cet appartement. Un tres grand merci pour cela à M.Isnardon qui est resté disponible tout au long du sejour. Allez-y les yeux fermés.
