Excellent apartment, spacious and bright located in the centre of Barcelona, in the heart of the Eixample.



The apartment with capacity for up to 9 people has 4 bedrooms:



1 room with 1 double bed

1 room with 1 double bed

1 room with 1 double bed and 1 single bed

2 complete bathrooms.



The entire apartment has air conditioning, heating and high-speed WIFI internet. Additionally, there is a flat-screen TV. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, refrigerator, coffee maker, water boiler, ceramic hob, microwave, oven and washing machine. Towels, bed sheets and a hairdryer are included. The apartment is exterior and has balconies with street views.



Flat renovated by renowned architects from Barcelona. Original details from the initial construction have been preserved (ceilings, doors, interior windows...) which, together with the new renovation, provide an authentic and comfortable atmosphere.



The apartment is located in the centre of Barcelona, in the heart of the Eixample. It is a very safe, quiet but at the same time active area, full of restaurants and points of interest. This neighbourhood is the most cosmopolitan in Barcelona, where Barcelona families mix with the young and international atmosphere. The flat is very well connected by public transport, as Line 1 of Metro Urgell is 1 minute on foot, and lines 5 and 2 are about 5 minutes away. In addition, there is an Aerobus stop 2 minutes on foot.



The flat is located five minutes walking from Paseo de Gracia and Rambla Catalunya. Las Ramblas, Plaza Catalunya and Universitat are within less than 10 minutes walking from the building. The beach is 15 minutes away by metro or bus (59).



It is very important that guests follow the guest rules. There are some basic rules:



- Keep the apartment in perfect condition.

- No smoking in the apartment.

- Do not disturb the neighbours, especially at night.

- Parties are strictly prohibited.

- No more people shall stay in the apartment than the number of guests registered in the booking.

Good location

There were 8 of us (all adults), the location was good, walking distance to almost all major places, like Gothic Quater, Sagrada and La Rambla. The apartment was very clean.

Property was ok, although one of the bedrooms was inside the livingroom. The noise from the bars downstairs was deafening. So noisy and went on all night....the airconditioning didnt work for three days, two enginers came and left telling us it works now but as soon as they left it stopped working, at the end another technician came and refilled the gas clean the filter and it worked.

It's a nice place and a nice area

It was a nice place and a nice area just make sure you have all the things you need when you get there. There were some minimal issues; no hand towels and could not get any for some reason, wifi info was incorrect, and TV didn't work.

The place was spacious but not what it was expected. The place had a smell of himidity that was a bit annoyed specially at night. The location was ok but was under clubs that were loud and very busy.

Good and bad

The property was well located for our needs/wants. The towels were shabby and need to be replaced. There was no coffee maker so we used instant and needed the kettle. However, the kettle lid was missing a handle so we filled it via the spout. Could not reheat the coffee as the microwave was missing the bottom glass tray. Details like towels and the ability to make coffee are important. Would not stay at this unit again as it appears someone is not paying attention.

Great Place to stay!

This was our first visit to Barcelona. We were traveling with our adult children and our aunt, five total and we were very comfortable in this setting. The manager came by to show us how to use the different appliances in the apartment. We were able to wash our clothes and do a lot of cooking in the apartment. There were many grocery stores and a pharmacy within a block. At night we could hear some of the activity at the street level but it did not disturb us. The location was great, within walking distance to many attractions. We really enjoyed being able to walk to The Ramblas, to the Barri Gothi, and to Barceloneta. We were able to take the hop on - hop off bus at the center, also within walking distance. After going on the bus, we realized that many of the main attractions are within walking distance. This would be a place I would come back to in the future.

Great location with lots of space

The location is the biggest asset of this accommodation. There was enough space for two families (8 people total). The multiple balconies were nice to use as well. The place could use a general update. The pots and pans weren’t in very good shape, some of the dining chairs and other furniture were pretty worn. Our biggest concern was the dark entry and stairwell. At night we had to use a flashlight to navigate the stairs. The directions provided for the location of the apartment in the building are confusing. They state “Floor 1 (second real floor), Apartment 1”. Going up one flight of stair you’ll find an apartment labeled “1”. But this isn’t the right place. You have to go up another flight of stair to find another apartment labeled “1”. In North America we’d say it’s on floor 3 and in most of Europe I’d expect to be told it’s on the second floor.

About the pans and pots we will check it and replace them if necessary. About the floor number, here in Spain we call this second real floor. The entrance floor is the ground, then you walk up one flight you get the first floor and walking another flight you get the second floor. In any case, there is also an elevator.

Luis was the absolute best host I have ever had.

Luis, the owner of the property was really amazing. He met us at the property, gave us a tour and gave us some really great ideas about what to do in the city and where to eat. Unfortunately the house was a disappointment. I rent my home in San Diego, CA and I make sure my guests have comfortable beds. All of the beds are absolutely horrid. Each night I had to fight to find a spot where I didn't have a spring poking me somewhere. They had bath towels but there were no hand towels or wash cloths. The lights in both bathrooms went out and the shower in the front bath splashed water everywhere. You had to use the hand held attachment to shower so you didn't have a pool of water to clean up. The blow dryer didnt' work and the noise from the street was super loud. I had ear plugs but the other girls suffered thru it. I feel bad writing this review because Luis was so wonderful but I would want to know.

Dear Jill, Thank you for your comments. I am very sorry the apartment disappointed you. In relation with beds, they are pretty new but maybe some have suffered a damage, I will check it immediatly. In relation with towels, I provide hand towels, it is strange you didn't notice. Maybe the cleaning staff made a mistake and didn't left. I would have appreciated if you told me this during your stay, I could have brought you immediatly. In relation with lights, could happen that a light goes off, sorry. Beautiful apartment but needs a little TLC

The apartment is spacious, attractive and well located with the added bonus of balconies leading off each bedroom, which gave great views onto the busy intersection below (although this might be a cause for concern if you have very young children). It has been sympathetically renovated with some original features, such as doors and shutters adding to the overall stylish accommodation. We were however, rather disappointed by the condition of some appliances and furnishings. For example, we discovered during the early hours of the first night that the bed in our chosen bedroom (there were several bedrooms and only two of us, a mature couple) had a missing slat in the bed base and the mattress had sunk through, causing severe backache! The chest of drawers in the hall was also broken and some of the bedspreads were stained. The electric radiator in the bathroom did not work and many of the light bulbs needed replacing, including in both bathrooms, but no lightbulbs were to be found. This made shaving a nightmare. We arrived to find large drying racks on each of the balconies, piled with sheets and nowhere to store the drying racks except in the bedrooms ( not such a problem for us but unattractive if all the bedrooms were in use). The worst part was the growing smell from the bathrooms which we think was caused either by a damp dirty mat which was glued down, or by the floor being cleaned by a smelly mop. By the end of the week the smell had worsened and with no bathroom heating, made showering an unpleasant experience, especially in poor light. All of these issues could have been avoided with a little more attention to detail, which was a shame because the apartment has everything for a perfect stay. And yes, it is noisy at night and there are a couple of sex shops but this is a vibrant, diverse city and we felt very safe and loved the neighbourhood. Everyone was very friendly and we had a great time in Barcelona, which has some great restaurants and live music. We also caught the train to Sitges for the day and would recommend this if you have time.

About the issues you found in the apartment: 1.- Lights bombs have been replaced. Sorry if there were a few didn't work. 2.- One of the bahtroom heather didn't work. I didn't know sorry, we will fix it. 3.- One piece of bed broken, I didn't know neither, sorry. I will fix immediatly. 4.- Bad smell. In Barcelona and in particular old buildings sometimes there are humit smells. I will put some deodorants. nous étions 8 personnes plus moyen manque de vaisselles. cafetières en panne . radiateur salle de bain changé en cours de séjour fenêtres qui ne ferment pas. loué pour 8 personnes donc obligées de dormir dans la loggia où il ny à pas de volet et beaucoup de froids. propreté un peu limite. mais contre appartement bien placé pour accéder à tous les sites de visites

Kaputte Türen aber sonst gut

Die Scheibe-Türen zu den Toiletten waren beide defekt, man konnte sie nicht schließen, es war also immer ein Spalt offen. Ansonsten war es eine solide fewo. Für 11 Personen ist die Wohnung allerdings nicht geeignet (obwohl es zum Zeitpunkt der Buchung im Inserat stand), da die Schlafcouch keine ist.

Great property, well located

The property was excellent, clean, spacious and as advertised on the website. A short distance to various well stocked supermarkets for every requirement. The walk into Barcelona centre was pleasant and not that far. The apartment was perfectly situated for the attractions and locations we wanted to visit. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

De foto’s op de site geven de indruk dat het een modern huis is. De praktijk is echter anders: gedateerd, bedden die niet lekker liggen, douche ( lekker warm ) maar een slechte waterafgifte. Door de ligging van het huis aan een kruispunt enorm veel ( verkeers) lawaai. Huis ligt centraal en is een goede uitvalsbasis. Wij waren teleurgesteld over het huis .

Really good property to stay at.

We were met promptly and shown around the property. Inside is clean and tidy and has plenty of space. Everything seemed in good working order. We only used it to sleep as we were out and about all day though. The location is handy for most things. The only issue some people may have is the traffic noise. But hey, that's city life. Would I use this property again or recommend it ... absolutely.

Location bien située, propre, spacieuse, agréable, un peu bruyante car rue passagère. Très bon accueil Quelques petites choses à voir : Dès mise en route de la climatisation, des mauvaises odeurs circulent par la bouche du salon, donc inutilisable (ne nous a pas gêné car c'était en octobre). Spacious appartment

This appartment offers a lot of space for families and groups. It is clean and has a nice living room and kitchen. It is located close to some of the main places for sight seeing, like plaza catalunya and plaza espana. It can be easily reached from the airport by public transportation. Therefore, it is a perfect loacation to start tours of Barcelona by foot, bus or subway. Nevertheless, some details could be improved to polish the overall impression. When we stayed there the wifi did not work and was not fixed during our stay. One window could not be locked and had to be left ajar. Additionally, there was still the foul smell coming from the bathroom or the kitchen that was already mentioned in other reviews.

Nice place in central location

The place was very nice overal. They let us store our bags early and were prompt in responding to messages. The place was clean and located in a central location. The only observation I had otherwise was that there was a slight foul smell that was coming from either one of the bathrooms or the kitchen.
