This cozy tiny house made the perfect base camp for our 50k races south of Leadville. The proximity to Main Street and the many restaurants and shops was ideal!
We spent one night in the tiny house called The Duke and found it super convenient for our plans. We spent a day paddleboarding at Twin Lakes and enjoyed a scenic hike at Turquoise Lake—both just about 17 minutes away from the house. One of our favorite pizza spots, High Mountain Pies, is also close by. Highly recommend grabbing a meal there! The house was perfect for our needs, with a bathroom and beds. The futon had a bit of sand under the top cover, but it wasn’t a big deal for us since we understood the place is pet-friendly.Overall, it's a good experience—we’d definitely stay here again!
We loved staying at The Duke at Tiny House Leadville! Super close to the main street and easy to walk to anywhere in Leadville. Amenities were nice, instructions super clear, and hosts incredibly communicative. Cozy and warm (even in the dead of winter)! Highly recommend.
We enjoyed everything about this trip. The accommodations were great. We had everything we needed and plenty of room. The location and view was off the charts. The food and people were quintessential Leadville. There is no place better. Don’t wait, book your trip, you won’t regret it!
We enjoyed our stay in The Duke, Leadville Tiny House. We had our 5yr old granddaughter with us and she slept well in the twin bed on the first floor. It was super convenient for walking to downtown Leadville shops and restaurants. We lucked in to catching the Leadville parade of high school graduates and a Thursday night Summer Concert series in High Mountain Pies backyard! The house had everything we needed and more. We really only slept there but pots and pans and place settings were available. I took advantage of the coffee pot and coffee. We rode the Leadville Railroad. Don't miss the Fish Hatchery for feeding the fish and the adjoining trails with picnic area.
Great tiny home right downtown, walk to everything. Clean and had plenty of space to sleep 4 to 6ppl. Showers water pressure left a little to be desired but it worked. Cheers
Overall it was a good stay in the tiny house. I would stay there again. In part because the location was perfect and they did a nice job with the house. I would also give it once more chance because I’m hoping that the fact that it was so dirty - especially the kitchen - was a one time thing and not a consistent problem. If it were to be that dirty again though, I would have to move on.

Not clean. Host entered property without warning. Not responsive.
I NEVER write reviews, but Cleanliness and security was an issue. The sheets didn’t look or feel clean and found some dirt smudges on them. Brushed it off, not a huge deal. Well… we stayed a single night went out to look at some views in the morning. We were gone for 1.5 hours and came back to find that our place had been entered into and “cleaned” There were fresh towels and beds were made so obviously cleaning crew came through. A little concerned and confused that this happened before we checked out without any heads up that someone would be entering our unit. It felt like they thought we weren’t coming back so they got a head start on prepping the unit for the next guest. It felt weird though, and we checked the bedding and the same dirt smudges were on the sheets in the same spots… kind of confirming to us that we slept on sheets that were not cleaned in between guests. Very gross. Honestly though, i gave the benefit of the doubt that the cleaning crew could’ve just messed up and I contacted the host with my concerns, but received no response. I wouldn’t stay here again,
Adorable tiny house. Comfortable and kept us warm even in winter in Leadville. Great stay.

Good but not for winter
We stayed here after a day ski touring and were so happy to have a warm, pet-friendly, place with a shower, to be able to cook a meal and be close to downtown.... until the drain pipes froze leaving us unable to shower or use the toilet. The property managers were pretty good about responding but they couldn't fully resolve the issue so we had to go to the vacant tiny home next door to use the facilities. We would probably stay here again but only in the warmer months. These tiny homes are not well winterized.
Not a bad location to downtown, the two couches if you can call them that were very uncomfortable and the black and white covers looked dirty if they were clean and looked the way they did they should be thrown out. The entry door hinges along with the bathroom squeaked to high heaven, only 1 pan and 1 small pot to cook with and no microwave bowls ect. The bed in the loft was horrendous, if it was a memory foam mattress the only memory it had was of solid granite. It was very hard to get the loft to a nice temp. for sleeping even with opening the window, there was a fan which helped. The area around the "Duke" tiny house looked quite unappealing. Also the sink in the bathroom was VERY small, why I don't know there was room for a larger sink.
Needed a place to stay on the way to Utah from Chicago and the tiny house was in a good spot. LOVED the town. Very much feel like I'm going to need to go back to Leadville for an extended stay.
The tiny home is accurately described on the listing and worked perfect for two of us adults and a teenager. It's also super close to downtown Leadville.
