30 minutes from arch rock Yosemite gateway, minutes to Merced River canyon, and a stone's throw to public transportation to Yosemite. 10 minutes to Historic Mariposa, boasting restaurants, groceries, entertainment, museums, live music, shops, fairgrounds, parks and recreation.

Great getaway!

This was a lovely home with an enormous view over the mountains. Nice wood-burning stove with plenty of firewood, cozy sofas, great TV, and good proximity to Yosemite and to tasty restaurants in Mariposa. It would be a great family place.

There are beautiful views to enjoy from this house. I love the amount of room and cleanliness of the house. A short drive to Mariposa where my niece owns a restaurant or Yosemite Valley. Look forward to staying there again.

Wonderful home off the beaten path. We saw wild turkeys and there is an orange tree in the yard. Easy to get to Yosemite and just what we needed for our family of 6.

For those travelling with adult children or couples this is good place to stay near YOSEMITE.

Saw mule deer, wild turkey with babies following it, and wild pheasants in the early morning on the property. Mariposa is not far for good restaurants. Comfortable.

Absolutely Wonderful! Plus a great view!

This place was a really lovely place to stay and the magnificent windows gave us such nice views to enjoy during breakfast! The cabin is so pretty, very comfortable, and the additional playground set in the backyard gave me some lovely memories with my niece and nephew. The hosts are very responsive and everything was very easy to figure out, thanks to their great help! I highly recommend this place and would definitely come here again!

Much needed getaway

Road trip/getaway with friends to Yosemite to relax and take in nature's beauty. The house was perfect for our group with plenty of space, quiet, clean, and beautiful views of the forest. Hosts Laura and Robert were very accomodating and responsive to any questions and gave excellent recommendations for dinner in the area. We had a nice dinner at Savoury's in Mariposa. Yosemite was only an hour drive up Hwy 140, gorgeous views of the Merced river along the way, and the sights in Yosemite exceeded our expectations. Would stay here again in the future. questions
