We had the most amazing weekend at this little cabin in paradise. Our family of 2 adults and 3 kids (and a dog) loved fishing in the pond, walking down to the river, having s'mores around the campfire at night, and just exploring this beautiful property. Becky was an awesome host and we all thoroughly enjoyed the cake that was waiting for us when we checked in. We definitely look forward to visiting again!
Beautiful secluded property!!! We cannot wait until we visit again, we’re so grateful this place exists. Thank you Tommy and Becky for sharing this wonderful place with us and our pup, till next time.
We thoroughly enjoyed each day we were here. This quiet, tranquil place is exactly what we needed. There was nothing lacking. We caught fish, rode side-by-side, napped and caught up on some much needed rest. We have plans on returning. The hosts are very nice and family oriented. We have a autistic grandson that we are raising and he wasn't ready to come home. He was so relaxed and loved the entire time. We would highly recommend this cabin.
This was a very relaxing place. Clean, secluded, close to the river, and multiple fishing options. It does advertise a hot tub; however, it’s a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. We were expecting a hot tub outside. Either way, the property and host were great!
My family came down sick right before our trip. We came ahead anyway and laid around the cabin for a week. Sitting around looking down at the river and walking the dogs along it was so relaxing. I found the isolated location beautiful and therapeutic. Becky was in touch and helpful throughout our stay. One of our best stays.
I don’t feel like the pictures or the description really give you any idea of how wonderful this cabin is! I spent 4 nights here and it was heaven! I felt like I was staying at a friend’s cabin instead of a vacation rental. Everything about this place is welcoming, homey and perfect! The owners give you tons of space, but they are also around if you need anything (and they are the SWEETEST people!). I understand why people go back to this cabin year after year….
We had a great time staying at River Ranch Cabin. Becky and Tommy are outstanding hosts, and the location of the cabin was gorgeous. We really enjoyed having the opportunity to get away for a while.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cabin and soaked up every relaxing minute wandering the amazingly beautiful and tranquil property with our son and our doodle “Waffles”. I even got a chance to pull a bass and a couple of nice crappie out of the private pond. Becky could not have been more accommodating and her delightful homemade honey bun cake was the best surprise. It made it less than one day before it was all gone. We will return!
The stay was terrific. The cabin was clean and simply perfect. We were looking for a getaway to wind down and there is no better place. Will definitely return.
We had a great time at this cabin. It was the perfect location to watch the eclipse. Becky was a great host who stayed in constant contact with us to make sure we had everything we needed. When we arrived, she had already set up the crib for our little one, as well as left us a delicious cake. It is a very peaceful place and we loved the patios and using the firepit.
Wow. Just wow. Fished the river front property both days and had success in the running water and in the farm ponds. All the amenities as home and such an amazing host! Thank you for being so hospitable!
Blessings,
JO
This was our third time here. We love our getaways to this private and serene cabin. The kitchen is fully equipped. Becky made sure to have everything that we could of wanted/needed. Our pups loved their freedom to run and the walks on the trails. We can't wait to come back again and again.

About the host
Hosted by Becky Phillips
We built the cabin in 2008, on land owned by this family for 3 generations. We enjoy our guests, but like to give them privacy to enjoy their time here.
Why they chose this property
The cabin is 1/2 mile from our home; close enough to be accessible if needed, but far enough away to be private. The pond and river offer fun water activities, and are close to the cabin.
What makes this property unique
Quiet, except for cattle lowing or children laughing.
