I have used many different properties, and I need to say this property is the best one that I have used in years. From stepping into the front door, you feel the cozy vibe of this beautiful home. Beautifully decorated but not overdone, the kitchen had everything you would need to complete a small meal or create a full 4 course meal, and we were able to fine everything very quickly. The beds were very comfortable and had wonderful bedding, so it was a joy to climb in bed at the end of the day after a hike or just sitting around the fire pit in the beautiful, landscaped back yard. Sitting on the front porch was wonderful to have a cup of coffee and enjoy the trees as they turned colors. The neighborhood was enjoyable to walk; everyone was nice and waved as they passed. We have decided to use this property again for our next visit to New York. Thanks again Anita for your hospitality and sharing your beautiful home!

This was our third visit to the Cozy Craftsman. Every time we have stayed there have been new upgrades from comfortable outdoor seating to the new mini split system. Anita is a wonderful host that really knows how to make you feel welcome. Our last two visits have included an older family member who suggested perhaps a gripper mat for the shower floor would be nice and an apron in the kitchen would come in handy as well. Defined 5 star in my book!

This property was perfect for our needs. Close to where our kids and grandkids were staying as well as many opportunities for exploring the area. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were quite comfortable. I will make this place a favorite.

Weekend Vacation

We had a completely relaxing vacation weekend. The house and location were beautiful. We loved soaking in the hot tub under the stars! We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Perfect Spot

Perfect location near Hunter Mountain

The house was super clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The host was lovely (left us fresh flowers and chocolates!) and communicated with us throughout our stay.

Very nice home!

This property was very nice; it really did feel like a home away from home....very clean, all the things there you needed, and Anita responded whenever we needed her. We visited several spots nearby and enjoyed our weekend!

Cozy Catskills getaway

We had a perfect long weekend getaway in the Catskills. Super close to ski at Hunter mountain and the cottage was cozy and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable and sleeping was a dream! Highly recommend to all!

Such a perfect little place to getaway

The home was lovely, tucked away at the base of the mountains. So nice for a couple or small family and there’s lots to do nearby. Anita was very responsive and the home had such sweet personal touches. Loved the hot tub and fire pit in the back!

We arrived in the evening and the house had lights outside which looked very festive. The inside was festive as well! The house was very clean, well organized, had everything you could need, comfortable beds, and an amazing hot tub! We thoroughly enjoy our stay! It snowed a couple days and the surroundings were absolutely beautiful. And sitting in a hot tub while it is snowing is a must do! So much fun! Thank you Anita for letting us stay at your place!

It is the cutest place. The house had everything we were looking for and more. The host is so sweet. We were visiting relatives in the area and the house was centrally located to them and hiking. We will be planning another trip in the next few months. We hope we can rent this house again!

Local Weekend Wedding

Perfect Property for a weekend stay. Home was beautifully decorated. We were might with Fresh Flowers and even some extra amenities due to the weather. Hot Tub was a nice touch after a long day. Would without question book again the next time we are in the area.
