All basic needs met. Host was great! Good general location for trips to parks etc. Close to hwy 42 which was busier than expected mid week.

Paul I’m glad you enjoyed your stay. We are meticulous about the cottage and making sure everything is clean and fresh for our guests. Where the cottage is there is no clutter as you call it. There is an antique store next door that gets new items daily for inventory so I’m sure that is what you’re referring too. I’m sorry you had to give a lower rate for something that did not pertain to the cottage. Take care

Darla was extremely helpful. She greeted us when we arrived and made lots of suggestions of things to do and places to eat nearby. The Forget Me Not is lovely, very comfortable for two people, with a well-supplied kitchen, comfortable furniture (the bed is a little squishier than we are used to, but we slept fine on it), a great shower, and charming decor. When we are back in the area we would certainly stay there again.

Cozy little cottage in a quiet part of Door County for a reasonable price. Nice places to eat and drink nearby within walking distance. Clean and comfortable with a large porch out front. Enjoyed our stay. Darla was very hospitable. Would definitely come back.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Darla is an excellent host. The place was just as described and very clean. We especially liked the location. It is centrally located between Sister Bay and the ferry to Washington Island. There are two wonderful coffee shops within a short walk. Kick Ash coffee shop is in a beautiful old church building and also has a gluten free bakery. Darla has a consignment antique shop, next door, that is so much fun to browse through. I highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful Getaway

We had a wonderful stay! The cottage was clean, well-kept, and in a perfect location for exploring all that Door County has to offer. Whether we were heading to nearby shops, restaurants, or outdoor adventures, everything was just a short drive away. The host was responsive and communicated clearly throughout our stay, which made everything even smoother. This was truly a perfect home base for our Door County trip, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!
