New chalet, overlooking the castle of Murol and Sancy

Come and enjoy the warm atmosphere of a recent chalet of great comfort with its magnificent view of the castle Murol and the Sancy. Ideally located to enjoy the lakes and mountains of Auvergne, 5min from Murol and St Nectaire, 8min from Lake Chambon, 20min from Lake Pavin and the resorts of Super-Besse or Mont-dore.
You can fully appreciate the decor with its south facing terrace and large room bathed in light with its 3 large bays.
On the ground floor, a master suite (lit160) with shower and sink, a separate toilet, a pantry, a kitchen open to a large living room where you can enjoy the heat of the stove while contemplating the illuminated castle.
On the floor, 1 room (bed 160), 1 room (2 beds of 90) which can make a sleeping of 180. A room dedicated to the children with sofa which can make 2 beds of 80, small corner office and hut.
Large bathroom with 2 basins, large bath and toilet .Each room has electric radiator.
Beds made on arrival, towels and table provided. Included. Shops and services in St Nectaire or Murol.

Absolutely wonderful place. Very spacious with exceptional views over the mountains and the castle. The fire place makes the place very cosy and very warm! I have explored all the nearby villages which were really quirky and peaceful. Easy reach to grocery stores and petrol stations. If you are into climbing, drive 25 min to mont dore town and from there you can climb puy de sansy. Iys a loop hike and takes around 7 h. Exceptional experience! Local food is being sold in the local Vivals , got some really nice local wine! I was lucky with the weather having clear sky most of my holiday. Highly recommended this house!

Superbe chalet au calme situé en hauteur, très bien conçu avec terrasse généreuse et vue imprenable (Massif du Sancy et château de Murol, dans la perspective). Nous avons fonctionné avec les commerces, bars et restaurants situés à 3km à Murol. Abbaye / village de St Nectaire et Lac Chambon également à proximité. Pour randonner sur les Puys, se rendre au parc Vulcania, à l'abbaye d'Orcival, aux autres lacs ou à Clermont, il faut compter en moyenne 1h20 à 1h45 A/R en voiture.

Chalet particulièrement agréable et fonctionnel

Nous étions 7 personnes, 4 adultes (2 couples pour 2 lits double de 160) et 3 enfants. C'était exactement ce qu'il nous fallait (les couples avaient chacun leur chambre et possibilité de 4 couchages sur 2 chambre en lits simples pour les enfants). La météo était correcte pour l'époque, un peu froide mais pas de pluie, ce qui nous a permis de sortir chaque jour pour des ballades plus ou moins longues à proximité immédiates ou à quelques minutes de voiture. Le chalet est très lumineux et bien exposé, face au château de Murol (visite à faire absolument). Les contacts avec la propriétaire sont simples et courtois. Nous n'hésiterons pas à relouer ce chalet si l'envie nous reprend de revenir dans la région.

Magnifique chalet au calme avec vue sur le château de Murol et le puy de Sancy

Un petit bijou ce chalet ! Tout y est: calme, vue, propreté, confort, des fiches pour visiter les alentours... Tout pour passer un agréable séjour. Le poêle à bois a été très apprécié (bois fourni) en début de séjour. Nous avons adoré ces petites vacances (pont de l'ascension). Nous avons profité de la terrasse et du barbecue. Allez- y les yeux fermés ! Vous n'avez plus qu'à déposer vos valises ! :)
