About this property

Take a Hike Cabin Explore the Wichita Mountains, Handicap King The Lazy Buffalo

Nestled at the foothills of the Wichita Mountains, The Take a Hike Cabin at The Lazy Buffalo portrays the captivating landscape that awaits you in the Wichita Mountains where you can find 59,000 acres of mixed prairie grass, ancient mountains, lakes, streams, and miles upon miles of trails waiting to be discovered.

The Cabin has a King Size Bed and roll in tiled shower with Handicap rails. Barn wood, knotty pine, and corrugated tin are used throughout the spacious cabin. Dark stained concrete floors and tin ceilings really add a rustic yet elegant vibe.

Enjoy the sunset from the long covered front porch while lounging in the wooden rockers or gather around the outdoor pavilion complete with picnic table and charcoal grill.

When it gets dark, roast marshmallows at the outdoor fire pit or relax under the stars in the back of our vintage star gazing truck, located just a short walk from the cabin.

Both kids and adults will love tossing horseshoes, throwing Frisbees at disc golf, playing old fashion board games from the front porch, and creating music in nature at the interactive Music Wall. Don't forget to snap memories at our themed photo ops.
