We stayed here because it is very close to our daughter, granddaughter & son in law. We were able to prepare meals, welcome an overnight with our granddaughter & be near our family. The space is welcoming & very nice. We plan to return.

It was okay

Unaware that this property was on a one way dirt road. There was a dog that followed are car down the street and we thought we were going to hit it. It was listed that there is two bathrooms there is only one. The carbon monoxide detector went off. And the fire detector went off every single night. It was okay. And a decent price.

I am always very quick to respond and handle any issues. In fact, I welcome conversation between us if you do choose to stay. This listing has been open for two months and I have reviews on other sites that are 5 stars. Had I known of any of the issues listed I would’ve immediately addressed them. I would’ve also helped make their stay more comfortable. I do advertise we are secluded and there are animals on the property and the pictures do show that. I didn’t realize the dog was out when they arrived. I keep him contained when guests are around. Nothing in the apartment is gas so there was really no point in the CO detector but it’s required by the city. As for the smoke detectors, I have no clue. We live in the space below and ours didn’t go off. Possibly humidity as it was very warm during this stay. As far as advertising incorrectly, that was an accident as well. As soon as I’m done writing this I will absolutely fix it. You will see there is only pictures of one bathroom.

When we got married we had a vision of owning a property with lots of land. We also wanted houses on the property that provided income. We wrote it down and within three years, we found this place in Gobbler Hollow located in Pevely but still separated and secluded. We are so close to the highway and so close to everything yet you would never even know.
