Old house on 2 levels, area 70 m2, with garden of 200 m2, overlooking the harbor, sleeps 6 (2 double bed and 2 single beds). Possible additional sleeping in the lounge. Kitchen: dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, fridge and freezer. Dishes for large family. Living room and two bedrooms upstairs, one with a harbor view. Linens not provided, possibility to rent at "The Blue Tornado in Port Joinville). Pets allowed. Bus stop in front of the house towards Port-Joinville.
This charming house is ideally located on one of the spots on the island. Club Diving 50m, Positioned on hikes and bike the island, it provides access to the beaches of the wild coast in minutes.

Super séjour !

Nous avons passé une semaine superbe dans la maison de la Meule. La maison est simple et très bien équipée notamment pour la cuisine. Nous avons apprécié la télé dans une chambre avec le lecteur DVD et plein de DVD, super pour les enfants qui ont pu découvrir un Walt Disney lors d’une matinée pluvieuse. La maison est idéalement situé au pied du port magnifique et très peu de lumière la nuit ce qui nous a permis d’admirer de ciel étoilé magnifique. Merci !

Un emplacement unique pour de superbes vacances

Nous avons adoré l'emplacement unique de cette maison. Profiter du port de la meule le matin sans personne est un pur bonheur. Les petites criques pour se baigner à 5min à pied le sont aussi. La maison est rustique mais bien équipée. Nous avons également très bien dormi.

Eine fantastische Woche, dennoch zwiegespalten...

Wir (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder/Jugendliche) haben im letzten Sommer eine Woche im "Haus Lakou" verbracht. Die Lage am kleinen Hafen ist fantastisch; der Bus hält direkt vor der Haustüre, die kleine "Chapelle de la Meule" oberhalb des Hafens ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen und der Blick von dort atemberaubend schön. Wir haben abends gerne dort gesessen, haben aufs Meer geschaut und ein Gläschen Wein getrunken... Die Bar nebenan fanden wir nicht störend - im Gegenteil, auch wir haben dort abends einmal gesessen- und dass die beliebte Crêperie "Le Vagabond" fußläufig zu erreichen war, fanden wir sehr komfortabel! Die nächsten Strände sind mit dem Fahrrad ebenfalls schnell zu erreichen (Leihräder auf der Insel sind ohnehin ein Muss). Eine Bäckerei und einen kleinen Lebensmittelladen gibt es in Saint Sauveur - fürs Baguette am Morgen muss man also ein paar Fahrradminuten auf sich nehmen. Lage und Infrastruktur sind aber wirklich top!! Tagsüber steuern viele Touristen den kleinen Hafen und das Restaurant an und es ist dementsprechend "rummelig", aber da wir in der Regel selbst unterwegs waren und die Insel erkundet haben, hat uns das nicht gestört. Morgens und abends hat man in jedem Fall seine Ruhe - den Garten haben wir zum Frühstücken und fürs Abendessen ausgiebig genutzt und man sitzt auch nicht allzu sehr auf dem "Präsentierteller". Warum nun "zwiegespalten"? So nett das Haus eingerichtet ist (es hat wirklich Charme!) und so sehr wir Häuser mit alter Bausubstanz mögen - wir fanden den Geruch des Hauses leider sehr störend. Vor allem die Kinder haben gelitten und waren nach einer Woche Aufenthalt froh, wieder im Zelt schlafen und durchatmen zu können. Im Kinderschlafzimmer war der Geruch am schlimmsten. In einer niederländischen Rezension, die schon ein paar Jahre alt ist, wurde das Problem ja schon einmal benannt: das Haus scheint feucht zu sein und "stinkt" in der Tat. Tagsüber haben wir fast ununterbrochen gelüftet, nachts ging dies leider nicht wegen der Mücken. Das ist wirklich ein riesiges Manko - mich wundert ehrlich gesagt, dass davon in den anderen Rezensionen nichts zu lesen war (vielleicht waren es Gäste, die das Zimmer mit dem Stockbett nicht genutzt haben oder nicht so geruchsempfindlich sind wie wir). Ansonsten ist das Häuschen sauber gewesen, einfach, aber funktional eingerichtet, die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet, der Check-In absolut unproblematisch - vielen Dank dafür! Wir hatten eine gute Zeit.

Un goût d’enfance

Très jolie maison bien typique. Les murs blancs me rappellent la maison de mes grands parents. Un vrai goût d’authenticité et de simplicité. Un jardin bien agréable, clos. Le port de la Meule est vraiment un très bel endroit. Un grand merci aux propriétaires pour nous avoir permis de passer cette semaine dans les meilleures conditions.

locatie super , anders viel het huis ons tegen , het was enorm vochtig , alles was vol stof en vuil het huis stinkt naar het vocht, dit huis is al jaren niet meer onderhouden en gekuist geweest!!

Maison effectivement située dans un cadre agréable. La location de vélos à Port-Joinville est indispensable compte tenu du nombre et des horaires de rotations des bus. Maison au caractère rustique annoncée par le propriétaire mais manque certain d'entretien. Propreté et hygiène à revoir.
