About the host
Hosted by Jim and Ulrike Kelleher

Jim has spent nearly his entire life in the Buffalo area, and now resides in Hamburg. Ulrike has lived in Germany and Switzerland before moving to Hamburg NY. As avid world travelers, we cherish returning home to enjoy all four seasons. Like everyone else, we value quality time after busy workdays and weekends. Our passions include woodworking, cooking, sewing, exploring various creative pursuits, and immersing ourselves in the beauty of nature. Our lake house showcases our signature crafts throughout, reflecting our love for craftsmanship and creativity.
Why they chose this property
As a child and teenager, Jim spent many vacations with his family on this lake, fishing and swimming. He always dreamed of owning a cottage on this beautiful lake—a dream that has become a reality in 2019. This property represents the perfect location for our family to live for generations to come, offering an ideal setting for both summer and winter stays. It's a place where we can fish, savor sunrises and sunsets, immerse ourselves in culture, host and cook for friends and family, and find inspiration for writing or sewing in this serene and peaceful area.
