From our balcony you can almost 'reach out & touch' the water. Comfortable and relaxing! Guests say it's the 'cleanest, beach condo they have ever stayed in' and 'the accommodations are fabulous, especially the ample supply of fresh linens'. A vacation you will remember! Enjoy the view & the amenities of our 3rd floor, end unit, gulf-front condo at Island Sands. AN END UNIT MAKES A BIG DIFFERENCE IN YOUR VIEW & PRIVACY!! (Check out our guest comments). A large picture window & 2 large sliding balcony doors provide a panoramic view of the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico & the sugary, white sandy beaches of the Emerald Coast. Full bathroom provides a convenient tiled, step-in shower with seat, & comfort level sink & toilet.
In addition to the spectacular view, our 27 unit complex offers an in-ground swimming pool complete with lounge chairs and bathrooms, outdoor showers & BBQ grills. BEACH SERVICE IS INCLUDED FROM MARCH THRU OCT MONTHS).
Inside, we offer a fully-equipped kitchen with refrigerator, ice maker, microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, full size ,.washer and dryer, and all the small appliances including, both, a Keurig & standard coffee pots. Spacious breakfast bar seating for ample dining space. The bedroom has a plush queen sized bed & plenty of closet & drawer space (two night stands, double dresser, chest of drawers, lingerie chest), private half-bath, flat screen TV and ceiling fan with lights.
Enjoy living room viewing beautiful Gulf of Mexico through the double six foot glass balcony doors (facing directly south) with a westward view picture window. When your not at the beach or relaxing on our spacious balcony, you can watch TV on the 50" Smart TV, play one of our collection of DVD's or listen to your favorite music on the IPOD/IPAD/Smart Phone wireless docking station.
We offer FREE Wireless Internet, all linens, including beach towels, liquid hand & body soap, dish soap, dishwasher tabs, starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, and garbage bags.. You'll also find coffee filters and sugar and creamer packets.

Great place on the beach and Ocean!

Great place to stay in Fort Walton! This is our second time staying at this condo unit. Great owner and great condo! We like that it is family friendly and that it is a smaller condo building- meaning the beach is less crowded than other places near by.

This was our second stay here and I can say with confidence it will not be our last! Great location, close to destin dining without all the crowds on the beach! Condo is well equipped with everything you would need and you cannot get a more beautiful view!!

Our family loved the location of the condo. It was nice to be away from the high rise hotels. The corner unit provided additional privacy and the view is one of the best!

Beautifully decorated condo, with all the amenities of home! Couldn't ask for better weather, having the beach chairs and umbrella were great! Have stayed here many times before, owners are awesome and easy to work with. Highly recommend this condo for your next stay at the beach.

Great Condo and Location!

Great spot! We went all around Fort Walton, Navarre, and Destin, and it's close to everything without the crowds. Very clean, comfy bed/couch, and beautiful beach which is what we came for! The Boardwalk was a lot of fun! Fireworks, luau, returants, shops, movie night, etc. Had a great 1st time there!

Beautiful beach!

Very clean with all the little extras included. Pat has thought of everything. Hope to return next year. Beach is beautiful and away from all the high rise crowds. Having the beach chairs and umbrellas set up daily was plus. Enjoy your stay here!

Awesome is an understatement. The best sunrise and sunset anywhere. The fishing was great, caught 20-35 daily. The most relaxing vacation in years. Condo was great. Breath taking views from the corner balcony. We will be back next year for sure...Thanks Pat!!!

Great Island Sands condo

This condo was clean, quiet and comfortable. It is much better than staying in a hotel. There were all the features of home except on the beach. We have stayed here before and the condo has been updated since last year. It is located in an area where it is quiet with very little traffic. I would recommend this stay to anyone.

Such a wonderful condo!

The condo was simply fabulous. Actually the best location in the entire building. Equipped with everything you need. Pat was always available to answer questions and provide information. We really enjoyed our time there, it's a shame that the 14 days were over so quickly. It wasn't our first visit to Fort Walton Beach, but it was certainly the best! Hopefully we will have the opportunity to rent this great apartment again in the future. Thanks! Corinna and Sven

Perfect View - Wonderful Host!

Had a great week in this condo with my daughter and 2 teen grandkids. Great location with a perfect view of the Gulf. We enjoyed the pool as well as the beach. Pat is a wonderful host. Everyone was very confortable.. Clean and well stocked with everything we needed. in the kitchen. We also used the outdoor grill near the pool area. Property was exactly as advistized and pictured.

Pat is the BEST!

We are 'repeat renters' from Pat and she can't be beat! I was DETERMINED to make our annual trip to FWB despite the oil spill. Pat was great with her policy regarding cancellations if it came to that. Thankfully it didn't, we kept our reservations and had the best trip ever. The condo was as great as ever, the beach and water as clean as ever and the view spectacular! We will be back next year! Thanks again Pat!

Great Experience!

LOVED our stay! The building is older but it had everything we needed. #1 being an amazing location! The condo was very comfortable and loved the decor. The owner has things available for guests that you don't normally find in other stays. Detergents for laundry and dishes, beach towels, spices, and more! The bed, bedding & couches were all great. The view from the balcony is perfect! The included beach service is only steps away!! You need to go down early to be sure you get your favorite spot. The owners are nice, responsive, and truly want you to enjoy your vacation. We loved our stay and plan on booking again next. year!

Old enough to retire, but not ready to give up the 'game'! We have the best of all worlds....living and working on a beautiful 19,000 acre lake in Georgia & owning a special getaway place on Okaloosa Island! We manage it ourselves and it's always very clean and neat. And, of course, the view of the Gulf is like no other!! We would love to share it with you! Small Complex, 27 units - 100 feet from the beach - Corner/end unit with it's own private entrance. Extra window in living area enhances the views and the brightness in the rooms, not to mention the view! Sitting on the balcony makes you feel like you could 'reach out and touch the water'. Dolphins playing and Pelicans swooping in for their 'catch of the day'. Convenient to shopping, restaurants, entertainment, yet away from the crowds & traffic of Destin. It's a dream come true!
