Great place to stay, comfortable, great beds and couch. Host communicated well. Place was cozy warm for us and extra space heater in downstairs bedroom if needed. We were there for work at Rockwood clinic which was just a few minutes away. Great restaurants close by, cant go wrong with South Perry pizza or Lantern.
We enjoyed our stay so much it had lots of room and it was so clean and comfortable a really good week we had there we wish we could have stayed longer it just felt like a second home.
Clean home, comfortable new mattresses and bedding, fresh white towels, spacious porch with seating, great couch, big dining table, desk in upstairs bedroom, fans in bedrooms, amazing bakery just steps away, Indicana and other restaurants within walking distance, close to Manito Park, 15 minutes to airport, and a 10 minute drive to the falls, carousel, and other downtown attractions. We would definitely stay here again!
Lots of room
4 of us stayed
Everyone had privacy when needed
Good fast internet and Netflix on the big screen
Thanks
We will book again next time we are here.
My family, including 84 yr old parents, had a really nice weekend in this home. There was plenty of room, very clean and comfortable. Check-in was simple. And host was responsive and welcoming. Location was convenient. Great breakfast nearby too.
We have stayed in this house before and we really love the location. The house is clean and has good space. I do wish there were more kitchen basics but overall we will stay again.
We had six adults and two young children staying at this home. It was comfortable and the lay out worked well for our group. It was an easy walk to The Grain Shed, and retail area that included a pizza place, coffee shop, and such. Also an easy walk to Grant Park for the kids. We enjoyed our stay!

Thank you for the great review Lois! So happy you enjoyed your stay and I'm definitely a fan of the Grain Shed myself!
Perfect for a short weekend to enjoy some forced family fun. Celebrated a birthday and stayed up playing games and didnt have to worry about the noise level. Very clean😊
The house met our needs but was smaller than the photos led you to believe. We were 7 ladies, ages 65-83 who were in Spokane to attend the quilt show and do some sewing. We have a few suggestions for making the property safer. Front lawn and sidewalk were in poor condition. No handrail into the house. One lady fell. Stairs going upstairs were deadly and needs a full handrail. No curtains on front door or windows by the door. Bedrooms need side tables (didn't look upstairs).
Maybe better suited for a college party than a family gathering. Unstable flooring, stairs, no screens on any windows throughout the house, only “kid/toddler” utensils and dinnerware, couch seemed overused & saggy etc etc - list not commensurate of pricing, photos or actual location.

Thank you for providing valuable feedback on your recent stay at my property. I sincerely apologize for any inconveniences you experienced during your stay. I have taken your concerns seriously and have conducted a thorough inspection of the entire home with my maintenance staff. They confirmed that the flooring is secure and holding up well despite being an older home. In addition, I have carefully reviewed the listing to ensure its accuracy.
Regarding the utensils and dinnerware, I went ahead and replaced all of them.
I genuinely appreciate your insights and will continue to make improvements to ensure a more satisfying experience for future guests. Please feel free to reach out to me directly if you have any further concerns or if there is anything I can do to make it up to you.
Thank you once again for your feedback.
This was was a great location for a larger group of friends. the beds were large, the bathrooms were plentiful, and the house had enough amenities to make an extended weekend comfortable. If you plan on cooking larger meals, the kitchen is a bit cramped, but we dined out most of the time and it was a non-issue. The only issue we had was with the front door lock, which requires the door to be lifted on its hinges to actually auto-lock. This caused a bit of a headache when trying to enter and even just use the front porch and have the front door closed, as the lock just cycles over and over unless the door is perfectly aligned. Beyond this, however, a great stay. Hosts are very responsive via email.

Evan - thank you for the 5 star review! Appreciate the kind words and good news is we were able to work on the trim of the door to allow the lock to close properly and the lock is a non issue now. As before I do apologize on it. Thank you again for being great guests, would love to host you all again.
We enjoyed the house a lot. No problems we couldn't work through. Nice area.

Needs TLC
My siblings and I were in town for a funeral. This house fit the bill for being large and close to shops / downtown. However, we were very disappointed with our stay. First, I had a family member with mobility issues. I sent a message before booking asking if there were stairs at the entrance or on the first floor and was told there were no stairs to enter or on the first floor. We arrive to find 2 stairs to enter the building and the larger downstairs bedroom had 1 step. The person who needed a larger room was forced to sleep in the very cramped children's room with bunk beds. The downstairs shower is a corner stall shower which the person with mobility issues also struggled to use due to its small size. While this situation is unique, we felt mislead about the stairs. Second, we were visiting during a heat wave and the air conditioner didn't have enough force to keep the upstairs bedrooms cool. We roasted while the people on the first floor were chill. Furthermore, the Nest kept turning up to 74 degrees every 12 hours, so at midnight the AC would turn off. Since the sensor is downstairs, those sleeping upstairs were sleeping in more like 85+ degree heat. Third, the primary suite upstairs smelled slightly of a sewer. There is a pipe clean out pointing into the room which I suspect is the source of the problem and the reason for an air freshener plugged in next to it. Fourth, there were dark fingerprints all over the door jams and switches. I don't think they've done a good scrub of the place in a while which would be nice during Covid. The blinds were damaged in the living room and the smoke alarm was open without a battery in it. This place needs some TLC and then it would be great.
Over all this house met our needs for a 3 night stay. There were 7 adults that stayed here. They were all pleased with the accommodations. It was clean and a cute house. Here are the recommendations for your VRBO:
1) fix the peeling paint in the living room
2)make it perfectly clear that there are only bed spaces for 8. the other 3 will have to use matts or air mattresses.
3) It was not clear how to access the laundry facilities without and extra communication.
4) The guest staying at the property were unable to figure out how to use the TV.
5) The stairway going up to the upper bedrooms and 2 bathrooms is treacherous! My niece slipped coming down the stairs. You know what I mean.
Thank you for considering our suggestions which we believe will only enhance the experience of others that rent from you going forward.
