Live like a local at Oceanfront Rhythm, a professionally managed and operated vacation rental located -- as the name says -- on the oceanfront. This 2- bedroom, 1-bathroom classic Hawaiian historic home, is fully equipped with kitchen, living room, dining area, 2 King beds, and deck with grill looking directly out to the ocean where you can watch kite surfers, whales, and the ocean waves. Sleeps 4. Enjoy gorgeous ocean views and stunning sunrises/sunsets while living like a local within a charming Kauai neighborhood.

Fuji Beach (aka Baby's Beach) for gentle swimming is right outside the front door, and some of the best beaches on the island are just a short walk or bike ride away. You'll have easy access by hopping on the 7-mile bike path that runs along Kauai's eastern "coconut coast" just in front of the home. Located minutes away from historic Kapa'a town with plenty of shopping and restaurant options. Also convenient to both the north and south shores of Kauai, the Wailua river (waterfalls and kayaking!), and all the breathtaking scenery the island has to offer. Comes fully equipped with all the comforts of home....plus the sound of the ocean waves to soothe you to sleep.

The "cabana" next to the water provides a great covered area for lounging, dining, reading, grilling, doing yoga or just hanging out. We recently upgraded the internet connectivity to better accommodate those who will be working from paradise. We also have a variety of beach equipment for you to use, including towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkel gear, yoga mats, a cooler and an umbrella.

Need space for 11? Inquire about renting both Oceanfront Rhythm (sleeps 4) and our sister property, Oceanfront Harmony (sleeps 7) to accommodate the entire gang!

A Little Piece of Paradise

This is a perfect place to stay.....just feet from the ocean and walking path, the sunrise and beauty of Kapaa. Walking distance to shopping, food and so much more. The host is great and there if you need her. Truly a place of Aloha.

A perfect place to get away and unwind. Our host was incredibly gracious and even purchased a cornhole game before we arrived because she heard me enjoyed playing. We hope to be back very soon.

Perfect beach cottage in centrally located Kapaa

This small beach cottage was perfect for our family of four. Our favorite thing about it was the view from the front porch while enjoying our morning coffee. We also loved the location. We walked along the ocean front bike path almost every day, either in the morning or in the evening. The kitchen was big enough for our small family meals and had everything we needed. The host was very responsive and I loved all of her recommendations for island activities and meals. We will definitely look to rent this place on our next visit!

Cozy piece of paradise

Ocean Rhythm is a delightful cottage in a non-touristy neighborhood. You can be at the beach in less than a minute and the lanai is perfect for watching the sun rise. The decor is very attractive. The kitchen offers everything you need to make all meals. The host was excellent and responsive, and provided extensive information in response to our interests. She KNOWS Kauai. The cottage shares the property with a larger house. Both have use of a cabana that makes a great additional dining spot. We loved our 5 night stay.

Great place to stay while working as a contractor.

I was busy with work but my wife and best friend came along and really enjoyed a short vacation. It was a great place to come home to with loved ones after each day at work.

Ocean view delight in the heart of it all

What can I say - Oceanfront Rhythm is spectacular. The owner is so gracious and responsive and gave us a customized itinerary for the entire island. The property is steps from the beach and bike path. We loved exploring Kapa’a and more. Favorites in the vicinity include biking the Coconut Coast, kayaking the Wailua River, Wailua Shave Ice, JoJo’s, Kenji burger, and Coconuts Fish Cafe. Easy drive to great beaches like Kealia and Anahola for swimming/boogie boarding. Convenient access to grocery stores and shopping. The best part was the natural breeze, eating on the lanai, and enjoying the ocean view. We were fortunate enough to see a moonrise - a magical experience. Our Kauai vacation was truly paradise!

The property is as advertised! Not only are there cooking supplies in the kitchen, but there are also cleaning supplies. Washer and dryer are behind the house. Beautiful sunrise views! Plus the ocean. Great location, easy parking.

We love the neighborhood, the restaurants, the beaches, and think there is no better place on earth than the eastern shores of Kauai. We are always available if you have questions about the area or recommendations, or if you need any other assistance during your stay.

If you want an authentic Hawaiian experience living among the locals in a "real" Hawaiian neighborhood, away from the tourists but close to all the amenities and action, this is the place for you. You'll be close to both the north and south shores of the island, with easy access to Waimea on the west, while staying in the heart of historic Kapa'a Town and its plentiful shopping, dining and fantastic nearby beaches. The answer is no . . . intentionally. While condos (which may not have cross-ventilation and can trap heat) or inland homes (which do not get fresh air circulating off the ocean) may need air conditioning to be comfortable, this is not true of a home on the ocean with lots of windows. At Oceanfront, you can live in harmony with the natural environment and have a richer connection to the trade winds, the sounds of the waves lapping on the shore, the delicate scent of the ocean air, the feel of the sunshine and the gentle breezes. No closed up spaces with air conditioning to steal away from the experience and romance of the Pacific Tropics. Instead, you are invited to embrace the rhythm and grace of the Hawaiian climate; it will stay resident in your soul for months . . . or years from now.
