Listen to the mesmerizing sound of the ocean all day long, from the minute you first open the front door. Walk inside, and living room sliding glass doors open to the vast ocean right in front of you. We are located on the second floor, in one of the few units closest to the ocean. We are located in Kapaa, on the gorgeous and lush Hawaiian island of Kauai! Well cared for and beautifully furnished condo with beach decor, beautiful artwork, well stocked kitchen, California king sized bed, air conditioned bedroom, free WiFi, 55 inch cable tv with soundbar in living room, second tv in bedroom, sound proof double-pane windows in bedroom for quiet and privacy, beach equipment, barbecue grills, swimming pool, a goody basket, and free parking. Our central location on the coast provides easy access to all tourist attractions on the north and south sides of the island, making for shorter day trips to those parts of the island. Great property with amazing views!

We had a great time staying at this condo! The balcony was very comfortable and had amazing views. The room was clean with had plenty of space for us. The listing says it has A/C, which ended up being a single unit in the bedroom that can't be left running while you're away. However, the airflow from the balcony and front-door windows kept us cool enough while spending time in the kitchen/living room. The only other thing we were a little surprised by was how the beach area around the building was very murky/muddy which is not recommended for swimming. Otherwise, we loved staying here!

Amazing experience!

We had an amazing experience. It was super clean and well located. The view of the ocean is amazing and from the living room you can only see the ocean which feels like a cruise ship. Will definitely stay again. Make sure you try the bakery across the street.

Perfect Getaway

Exactly as described, everything met our needs. Enjoyed meals on the lanai watching surfers, turtles, and sunrises. Great location, 30 minutes either way led to great activities. Amazing breeze from front and back of condo/building. Appreciates the ceiling fans and other fans available. Enjoyed dinner at Coconut Market and bringing it back to to the condo as well. Great place for souvenirs as well. Owners were communicative and gave great instructions. Absolutely would recommend.

We have been visiting Kauai and the other Hawaiian islands since 2008. We fell in love with Kauai on our first visit. Since then, we have dreamed of owning our own piece of paradise on this lush and beautiful island. Our dream finally came true on November 17, 2021, when Wailua Bay View #208 became ours. Given the stunning, breathtaking ocean views located in a serene and private setting, we fittingly renamed our condo "The Seashore Hideaway". Our dream was not only to be able to enjoy a piece of paradise ourselves but to share our hideaway with others who want to have a relaxing or romantic beach vacation. We have redecorated the condo in beach-themed decor, to provide a relaxing beach vibe and allow you to really feel like you have gotten away from it all.

Why they chose this property

The view at The Seashore Hideaway can't be beat. You can see the ocean from just outside our entry door, and as you take one step at a time into the condo, the view gets better and better. Step out onto the lanai at the other end of the condo, and you will be in awe over the expansive and unobstructed ocean view that is right before your eyes. Given that this condo complex has only 45 units, you will avoid the hustle and bustle of busier condo complexes or resorts. Here, you will find peace and serenity and you can actually go home feeling truly relaxed. If you enjoy hearing the sound of the ocean, as waves come in and crash on the beach waves, this is the place for you. If you are looking for a place to enjoy a quiet or romantic time away, this is the perfect option for you.
