Beach Bubble Review
While the property and the location are beautiful, the headache that comes with it is not worth the cost. The home is beautiful. It is spacious and the elevator makes moving things in and out a breeze. Being able to have coffee on the balcony and look past the row of houses to see the ocean is another added bonus.
The cons unfortunately outweigh the pros. We had a blade of the upstairs ceiling fan unexpectedly come flying off. When the host was notified, not only did they not even apologize, they never even acknowledged the incident. The freezer in the kitchen wouldn’t even keep items frozen. After messaging the host, she stated she would contact the company (Samsung) and again we never received any updates. The trash bins were all filled with garbage from the previous rental, but we were able to cram ours into them. Unfortunately, the host expected us to take out all of the bins for them and spoke negatively when we only set out the one we were using. The TVs are using different accounts from previous renters. That was a major red flag for me and the outside downstairs shower is abundantly covered with roaches at night. I know they are common in the Carolina’s, but this was to excess.
I would say the biggest negative was communication with the hosts. They were upset that we didn’t take the trash bins out to the curb not once but twice even though the instructions provided stated “Trash runs on Tuesdays”. I suppose if they hadn’t arrived 40 minutes prior to checkout.
