About this property
Classic Mountain Ski Lodge @ Sugarbush
Just 10 minutes from Sugarbush, in picturesque Warren, VT, this 5-bedroom home set on 26 acres is the perfect private setting for a memorable family or multi-family ski trip. Relax around the central fireplace under cathedral ceilings in the lodge room, and enjoy stunning views of Sugarbush Mountain and the Mad River Valley. Play pool in the lower level club room and lounge in front of the wood stove for movie night. The updated kitchen and large family dining table are great for large group breakfasts before hitting the slopes, or for skipping the crowds at American Flatbread (which is also great, and just 5 minutes away) and cooking a family meal at home. If you want to brave the cold, there is a covered deck with an outdoor grill and a backyard fire pit. The master bedroom (king bed) with private full bath is located on the main floor. Four more bedrooms are located upstairs with room to sleep 11 more people comfortably. For even larger groups, a 6th bedroom is available in the studio over the detached Carriage House, with its own full bath and kitchenette (contact us for the additional information). The large entryway mudroom provides plenty of room for storing and warming wet gear at the end of the day.

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay, it was the perfect place to spend a summer weekend in upstate Vermont. The property was beautiful, and hosts were accommodating and responsive. I especially appreciated the grill with plenty of propane and stocked firewood for the fire pit!
We loved everything about this house. Very comfortable with loads of amenities. The location was perfect and communication with owners was easy as they were very responsive. It was great for a large group. I highly recommend this home. We hope to stay again in the future!
Had a great time - large table ample seating - pool table fun - perfect winter spot with beautiful views of the mountain!

About the host
Hosted by Heather and Brian Carroll
We are a family of 5 from Massachusetts who fell in love with Vermont a few years ago. With young kids in school and activities, we don't make it up to the mountains nearly enough. Until we can, we hope that you will enjoy our little slice of Vermont.
Why they chose this property
Our favorite part of this home is the view. It never gets old. We love relaxing on the front porch or gathering around the wood stove after a day of hiking or skiing. The house is perfect for entertaining large groups, or for a quiet single-family retreat.
