About this property

Cozy Bear Cottage! Hot Tub! Warm toasty fireplace!

One beautiful pinewood cabin secluded on 3 acres of woodland property all to yourself. Private and cozy, we are only 1/2 mile to the river, 2 miles to Cooter's Place, 10 minutes to Luray Caverns and town, and 12 minutes to the Washington Jefferson National Forest. We are 17 miles from Shenandoah National Park's Skyline Drive.

My husband and I both love staying at our cabin where it's peaceful and beautiful and quiet. It's a great place to unwind and refocus on each other. Relax in any room; the cabin has ceiling fans in every room and on the front porch to help you stay cool even on a hot summer day.

The cabin offers 3 Bedrooms outfitted with 2 Queen beds and 2 Single sized beds. Deck out back. Freshly stained exterior of cabin in Spring 2022. Beautiful covered front porch to enjoy your morning in a rocking chair, rain or shine. Great fire pit and Adirondack chairs to sit and roast marshmallows or just watch some "caveman tv". The cabin also has a wood-burning fireplace inside which is super warm and romantic with that special someone.

We have DISH tv and Wi-Fi. If you are like me you still want access to all your Netflix, Hulu and Prime tv shows. Use the Wi-Fi and connect to the tv so you can watch all your shows to your heart's content.

Come get away to our peaceful cozy cabin!

If you want a cozy cabin feel, this is the place for you. It was so cute inside and the beds were very comfortable. The house was clean and they had everything you needed for your stay, including cups, utensils, trash bags, soap/shampoo, a hairdryer and even a baby crib. Will definitely be staying here again.

Cozy Bear is a fantastic place to stay! It was extremely clean and a cozy and comfortable place to spend a few days. The kitchen is very well stocked and we enjoyed cooking dinner every night. The location is wonderful being close to downtown Luray and Shenandoah National Park where we explored great hiking trails. We had a few questions that Mellanie and Marty responded to immediately which we were very appreciative of. We look forward to returning to Cozy Bear in the near future!

Cozy Cabin in the Woods

We enjoyed our stay in this cabin. Lots of fun hiking in the National Park nearby. We loved sitting by the firepit in the evenings. The cabin was very clean and well-stocked with everything we needed.

Look no further if you are looking for a great cabin in an excellent location but still close (about 15 minutes) to the Luray Caverns and the scenic Shenandoah National Park and Skyline Drive. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms the cabin is perfect for that family get away. And we loved the hot tub after a long day of hiking! The hosts could not have been more helpful and responsive. We will be back for sure!!

My family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin tucked away in the woods. We traveled with a 12 year old and 2 year old and was perfect for everyone. Everything we needed was provided and easy instructions for check in and check out. The hosts were attentive with questions. Would 10/10 recommend if you’re wanting to visit Luray. If we are ever in the area again would go back to this comfortable cozy cabin.

Marty and I love our cabin in Luray. We enjoy the peacefulness and solitude just a few days can bring. Marty is a retired Army veteran and I work in human resources for our church. Together we have 3 children and 2 grandchildren, all of whom love spending time at A Cozy Bear Cottage. It's great family fun but also cozy enough for just the two of us!
