We were only there for 3 nights but had a lovely time. The view is beautiful and our stay was very peaceful. All accessible rooms are on the same floor which made it feel cozy without being crowded. It was easy to spend a lot of time together or retreat into a bedroom if needed. We felt very welcome!

We’re so glad you had a nice stay with us, Pat! Please come back again soon!
We were truly able to relax at Jordan's place in this peaceful space. We were afforded bucolic daytime views of rolling hills and gorgeous star studded nights; neither of which we can see living in the city. The area was quiet and close to our hiking adventures in the national parks and we came back to a calm and tastefully decorated home to rest each day. The house was well equipped for all we needed to cook and Jordan was super gracious with his communication. We are very grateful!

We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay at our home! We hope you come back again soon.
Pictures don't do this house or its views justice! The mountain views were stunning! We loved hearing all the sounds of nature around us! There is a super cute country store .5 miles from the house that has the most amazing sandwiches and baked goods. The people are so friendly and we were only 25-60 mins in any direction from incredible restaurants, shopping and sites!!! Jordan was super communicative and responsive when i needed to get ahold of him. The house was clean and comfortable and we loved every moment there. We will definitely stay again when back in that area!!!
What a fabulous time we had at this beautiful home! Everything was pristine and we greatly appreciated the thoughtfulness of the wine and personal note upon our arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed waking up to the beautiful sunrise in the back and then watching the sunset from the hammock in the front. We even were able to watch the Perseid Meteor Shower while there. The adorable goats next door were a special bonus. The hosts were very easy to work with, provided everything we needed, and responded quickly. The guide of the area they sent upon booking was great in helping us decide the areas to explore and best restaurants and wineries. Thank you for a wonderful stay allowing us to make memories with our family!
Property was very clean and served extremely well as our "home away from home" while enjoying Skyline Drive, Luray, and all that the Shenendoah Valley had to offer. We had no need to contact the owner as we had no issues requiring contact.
The only issues encountered were:
1. Our inability to view everything available on the TV. Not an owner issue, simply our unfamiliarity with the system. Take a 12-year-old along and they would be able to view all options.
2. Be aware that the shower/tub floors are extremely slippery. We had to put a towel down to avoid a fall in the shower.
Otherwise, this was a fabulous stay, and we will certainly book again.
Perfect get away if what you want to do is just slow down and relax.
Can’t beat the views! Host was very accommodating with last minute shuffling of what guests would be coming and getting house ready for quick turnaround on back to back guests
This rental was a knock-out in Fort Valley. Jordan was attentive and responsive, and the house was very comfortable and well-appointed. The spacious kitchen and open floor plan made cooking and socializing easy and fun for our family who traveled in from Pennsylvania and New York. Despite the mostly rainy weekend, the views were still stunning. We highly recommend this home away from home!
Beautiful and clean house with amazing valley views
My family and I loved our long weekend getaway. The house was well renovated, some places are done quickly but you can tell attention to detail was a priority here. It was also incredibly clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The view was also breath taking. We felt right at home with the nice touches from the host and will definitely return here if in the area.
If you are looking for a place to stay that is quiet, and comfortable, this is your spot! The property is just how it looks in the pics and that includes the beautiful views from both the front and the rear of the property. We really enjoyed seeing the mountains, and the neighbors goats were an added treat. We had a great time and really enjoyed everything about this location!! And the Owner was extremely helpful with answering any questions we had, and was very responsive especially prior to our arrival!!
This location was also close to great hiking in the valley!!
The house was EXACTLY what you see in the pictures. I have rented more than my fair share of vacation houses that give you only a glimpse of the house and that glimpse was just the good parts. This house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The views from both the front and the back were amazing. The one thing they didn’t mention was the neighbors have goats! We spent an entire day relaxing on the deck watching the goats. We didn’t need to reach out to the owners while we were there but they were easy to communicate with before our arrival. Don’t hesitate to book this house if it’s on your list!
