About this property

Come take a vacation at this peaceful country setting within reasonable distance to the Hocking Hills State Parks. The Sunrise apartment is located above our 3 car garage and is a studio type room with a queen bed, a love seat, TV screen (no TV channels available), Samsung DVD player with built in apps, unlimited WiFi, (4G LTE at times, slows down to 600 kbpg) Bring your own DVDs, and internet subscriptions. Service can be very spotty in the area, so we can not guarantee great service. We do encourage a technology free vacation. There is also a small table with 4 chairs, a bar with 2 bar stools, a fully furnished kitchenette, 1 bathroom, and another bedroom with a full size bed located on the other side of the bathroom. This bedroom also has an entrance from the stairway. Towels and linens are provided. Country Lane Lodging also offers another vacation apartment at this location that sleeps 5 with 2 bedrooms. Sunset unit is located out in our barn on the far right. (google vrbo.com and in the destination put in the #940476) We have an above ground pool that is open during the summer months for guests use. Enjoy the trails in our woods, roast hotdogs in one of our two fire rings, and enjoy our mini farm, with miniature horses, and Snowball the barn cat. Get up early to see the sunrise from your window. Complimentary coffee and snacks.

We are located 45 minutes southeast of Columbus, 15 minutes from Circleville the home of the Pumpkin Show, 25 minutes from Tecumseh (outdoor drama) and 15-20 minutes to Rock House one of the Hocking Hills State Parks. There is a IGA with fuel, a Dollar General and a few small diners in the little town of Tarlton just a few minutes from here. And plenty more to do to keep you busy for a number of days. Enjoyed our stay in Amanda, OH

Property was very clean, spacious enough so we didn't even hear other guests until the end of our 5-day stay and I personally enjoyed the small things in the unit that made it feel like a home away from home (e.g. cooking utensils, pots and pans, and a few seasonings until I could make it to the grocery store). My daughter enjoyed the play area. Thank you, Norma and Phil.

Home Base for Hocking Hills

The property is beautiful. We hiked in Hocking Hills every day so we didn’t miss the tv access, (which the owner was upfront about in the listing). We had no problem receiving internet service on our phones through our provide (Visible by Verizon). I relaxed on the Hammock in the sun one day which was lovely. We would definitely recommend to others.

Very very nice

It is just like the pictures. Very clean and comfortable. Sweet family as we had a little bit of interaction. We wished we would have had time to explore a trail or two. Gorgeous country, property and accomodations.
