The cabin exceeded our expectations. The hot tub was super nice. Perfection. Cabin has skylights and an enclosed porch with 2 super comfy rockers. Especially loved the privacy...right in the woods. All the amenities. Stove, refrigerator, microwave, grill. Huge open shower and the real log accents thru out added to the charm. And the proximity to attractions was within 30 minutes. Mark, our host, is a gem too.
Great property if you are looking to unplug, relax and hike. Only downside is no cell service or internet. As long as you know that and are okay with it this is a great place.
The cabin was exactly as pictured and no issues at all during our stay! We didn't want to leave, it was so peaceful. Beautiful cabin. Definitely perfect for couples needing to get away and spend one on one time together and it is close enough to Hocking Hills State Park to walk the trails!
We absolutely loved our two night stay at this lovey cabin. It is bright, clean, easy. The only thing I'll mention as a negative is the lack of wifi. Maybe I didn't notice where it said there was none in description, but if so, that tells me it might be better to make it a more prominent fact in the listing. We definitely got used to the quiet, but would have brought our own hotspot if we'd known. No internet serviceno tv, music, phone, nothing. Also, maybe some additional towels available for hot tob use would be good. These things did not detract from the quality and beautiful solitude we enjoyed. We really loved our stay!
We have stayed at several cabins over the years in different locations throughout the U.S. and this one is our favorite! It is very clean, nicely furnished and has everything we need for a few days away. The kitchen is nicely furnished, enclosed patio is perfect for meals, bathroom is large and clean, bed is comfy and hiking is just a few miles down the road at the park. Highly recommend this cabin!
The cabin and property were immaculate. Exactly as listed, a beautiful getaway. The screened in porch and hot tub place this cabin as one of the best for the money.
Absolutely would stay here again 😄
The property was extremely nice and met our expectations. However the remoteness of the location left us with no cellphone service. We would have to drive a couple of miles just to
The property is beautiful, clean, well put together. Nice grill. Beautiful rustic details all around that were delightful. Be aware you may have zero cell service at all. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys feeling like they are all alone in a beautiful foresty area.
The cabin is charming and well-appointed. It was exceptionally clean and my communications with the owner were excellent. The cottage is remotely located in a beautiful wooded area which was home to several deer that we saw during our stay. Being without the Internet and cable television was a real treat and an escape from all that flows into our lives from those sources.
Overall, it was a great experience. The only thing that kind of sucked was it didn’t have Wi-Fi. Obviously, I know that you’re in the woods and that’s not what you’re there for but if you needed to get a hold of somebody, you would have to go outside the cabin and down the driveway to get a hold of somebody, other than that, it was beautiful and I loved every single single moment of it and I will definitely stay there again
My husband and I thought the cabin was adorable, well appointed and very clean. We hiked each day for several hours and look forward to the hot tub in the evenings. It was perfect for sore muscles and relaxing. We wanted to try some of the different hiking trails, and the cabin is on the same side as Cantwell Cliffs, Rock House and Conkles Hollow. So convenient! We will be back and have already recommended it twice.

Beautiful location
This property is nicely designed, good location and very private. We loved waking up in the morning with the gorgeous view of the beautiful trees and new day dawning from the well placed windows.
We were, however, disappointed with the lack of appropriate kitchen utensils: no scissors, knives that need to be replaced or sharpened, no replacement paper towels and an absolutely filthy toaster oven. We dropped an ice cube on the floor and wiped it up with a paper towel which left the paper towel black. The grill was also filthy. My husband had to scrape and scrub it so we could use it.
We loved our time in Hocking Hills despite these things, but would recommend upgrading the kitchen and a more thorough cleaning going forward.
Mark was a great host! I made a mistake in our booking by accidentally booking fir next year. He clarified with me if those were the dates I intended and worked with VRBO and my schedule to accommodate us on new dates. He answered our questions promptly. The cabin was perfect! Secluded, but easily accessible. It had everything we needed to make a relaxing getaway. The hot tub was perfect! If visiting the Hocking Hills area again, we definitely would rent this cabin again! Thank you for the perfect reset that we needed!
The location was convenient and the cabin was very clean and cozy, Clean hot tub and grill are nice features! We loved the wood accents and the workmanship. We plan to stay again!
I have stayed at other cabins in Hocking Hills but this was by far the absolute best! It was clean and all the wood working throughout the cabin and porch was incredibly beautiful. The sky windows were cool. The grill was nice and the hot tub was a highlight for sure. The bed was super comfortable and the towels and blankets were high quality. I never will stay anywhere else when in the area. It was a perfect couples retreat!
It was amazing. Nice to check out and relax for a couple days. Hiking was great, sitting watching DVD's, spa time in the hot tub. Very refreshing short vacation.
This place was amazing! It was exactly what we wanted for our get away to unplug and unwind. We will definitely book this place again if we need a get away!
