A few of my favorite things to do!: My favorite thing to do is take in the beautiful scenery, it is
truly special. Then cook out on the grill, sit on our log chairs on the deck and listen to nature
make it's way into the night.

Hike along the dirt roads
and trails and you could see a deer. Nearby is white water rafting, my son and myself had a blast!
Then we went gem mining and found some great gems.

All in all it's a unique experience that adults and kids will enjoy and remember for a lifetime!

We enjoyed our time as well as the location. The host did a great job in communicating and proactively reached out to us proir to arrival. We enjoyed having the ability to cook a lot of food at once on the Blackstone. The weather was nice and we most definitely enjoyed playing several rounds on the pool table.

Spring vacation

We visited this beautiful cabin during spring break with 4 of our children. It was beautiful the view of the cabin, the view from the cabin, inside of the cabin was very clean just amazing. The beds very so comfortable I have not slept on a more comfortable mattress in a while. Each room had their own private bathroom even the room for the kids. Definitely will be coming back to this beautiful cabin.

Beautiful house and location

The house was beautiful and had everything you needed to stay and enjoy the lake. The best part of everyday was sitting on the deck overlooking the lake and drinking coffee. The fire pit was a plus and would definitely recommend this house. We hope to be back soon,

We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to be back. The house is gorgeous, clean and well stocked. The lake views are breathtaking. We had the best time playing pool, enjoying the kayaks, etc. We never wanted to leave. Highly highly recommend.

My husband and I and another couple stayed at the cabin. It is absolutely gorgeous. Wonderful big kitchen. Had everything we needed. Would love to stay here again. The water and Mountain views are gorgeous. Loved the fire pit area.

NC Mountain Stay

The cabin was beautiful and truly fully furnished. But I did not go to the mountains to be woken up at 7:15 every morning with screaming, hollering, and banging by the construction workers building a house 2 lots over. This went on until 5-6pm everyday. It made it unenjoyable to sit on porch for morning coffee or being on the dock and swimming around the cove.

Awesome House and relaxing weekend!

Wow! We stayed here for a long weekend to relax and relax is what we did! My husband and I prefer to stay in very clean, "higher end" accodmodations whenever we travel and this house was perfect! I enjoyed cooking in the spacious kitchen with granite counterops and stainless appliances...it had everything I needed! Our teen enjoyed the privacy of her own suite with bunk beds and private bath off of the game room with pool table while we loved the master suite with the most comfortable king bed ever! The hot tub was awesome but the best thing is the beautiful lake view and the peacefulness that Serentiy Cove offers! We're definitely going back to stay there again! Thank you, Greg, for everything!

Excellent, very comfortable get-away!

Serenity cove lives up to its name; the cozy, comfortable, complete and beautiful house is located on a nice cove overlooking Nantahala lake and provides everything for a great and relaxed get-away! Kitchen, living and dining room, as well as the bed rooms are beautifully decorated, making you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. No matter how you like to relax, there is something for everybody. In our party of 3 adults and 4 teenagers some liked to take it easy, others wanted to be active. The wide variety of amenities ranging from a nice and compete kitchen, comfy couch, luxurious jacuzzi, great pool-table and big fire place area to all the water-toys left nothing to be desired during our break from the hectic day-to-day life! I highly recommend this wonderful cabin!

Couldn't have asked for a better cabin

We spent Christmas at the cabin. Just as the other reviews stated, pictures don't do it any justice. It had everything imaginable that you might need (and more) i do suggest that you go to the grocery store prior to getting to the cabin as the closet store is an hour away! One other thing i would like to say is that near the arrival of the cabin GPS was a little off. It wants you to turn at a gate that has a padlock on it, don't turn there continue to follow the road and you'll run into the gate that you have to put the code in.

Great vacation cabin!

My husband and I recently visited this cabin for our anniversary. We could not have been more pleased with our trip. The cabin is absolutely beautiful, inside and outside. The furnishings were extremely nice.There are numerous things to do at the cabin such as playing pool, relaxing in the jacuzzi, going out in the canoe, roasting marshmallows in the firepit, or just relaxing with a good book on the deck. This is by no means a typical cabin that you can rent. Our favorite place to be at the cabin was out on deck overlooking the lake and mountains. We were able to see 4 deer by the lake one morning, and then 3 deer in the driveway later that evening. The scenery is amazing! There is also lots to do in the area, such as whitewater rafting, horseback riding, and hiking. We can't wait to plan our next trip back. We have stayed in numerous cabins in the "Great Smokies", but none compare to this cabin! Serenity Cove is the perfect name for this place!

Wonderful Cabin & Lake Experience!

Our group was comprised of two families, each with young children (4-9). The house was absolutely perfect for us in every way! The house was well laid out and over equipped - it has everything. That extends to the equipment and supplies for the lake's outdoor activities - kayaks, canoe, tubes, lifejackets, great set up. Our kids all loved the huge water mat and spent hours just swimming and playing in the water of the house's protected cove. The interior of the house is well appointed and appropriately decorated. The huge decks on the back of the house are simply perfect extensions of the interior. Could not have been a better fit for our vacation. Greg is supremely easy to work with and is lightning fast with his responses. There is a reason this house is booked solid. If you are going, you should definitely rent a boat as well - we used Chance who was a pleasure to work with and bailed us out when we accidentally drained the battery, Greg can put you in touch.

Wonderful for family reunion

Beautiful spacious well equipped house. En suite bathrooms for each bedroom a plus. Tucked into the mountains with beautiful views on a protected cove with a great dock for boating swimming and sunning.Steep driveway and winding roads make getting in and out less easily accessible but well worth the trip. Communication with Greg were always prompt.

Perfect cabin, beautiful mountains!

We just got home from a week at the Cabin. None of us wanted to go home, the cabin was perfect. We even spent extra days just at the cabin and enjoying the Lake. Greg gave us very detailed instructions and answered any questions we had promptly! The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed and then some. The internet was a little slow, but we were just happy to have internet in the Mountains. We had a couple beautiful mountain storms come through. I think we might have lost power, but if we did it wasn't obvious because of the Generac generator. If you are planning a trip to NC this cabin is a must!

Property was large and clean with amazing views of the lake and mountains. Greg was a pleasure to work with. At no fault of the owner, the property is a little difficult to access, there was road/underground utility construction, and a home renovation happening next door (Greg kindly notified us in advance). All in all a great experience and definitely a 5 star property.

Great house, beautiful view!

The layout of the house was great and we really enjoyed the large decks/porches where we spent hours enjoying the view and watching the birds at the feeders. The kitchen was well equipped which made meal making a pleasure. The hot tub was wonderful and larger than most we have seen at other rentals. Greg was a great host. He gave us all the info we needed for our stay at the house up front so we had an easy check in and stay. I would definitely stay here again when it is warmer to enjoy all the lake activities

Incredible Getaway

Couldn't ask for better scenery or property amenities, being tucked away in the mountains! The kayaks and paddle boards were MUCH appreciated. Views from the decks were one-of-a-kind, and the night sky totally captivating. The water is very clear and clean, and the fire pit was a nice touch and use of the outdoor space. I will note that for anyone with knee issues, this is probably not the easiest location for mobility, so please read through other reviews before determining if this is the right property for you. The property manager was very responsive, and provided helpful insight regarding our route to the cabin -- which would have had us on the Tail of the Dragon after a long day of travel (we did take this route back home, and while challenging, it was an awesome experience).
