Mountain Memories sits just 1.9 miles from Pigeon Forge on the Gatlinburg side, with Gatlinburg a short drive beyond — and the entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park practically at your doorstep. Seasonal views of Mount LeConte, a private hot tub, and that secluded mountain feeling that makes you never want to leave.


This cozy 2-bedroom, 1-bath mountainside cabin sleeps 6 and is the perfect escape for a honeymoon getaway or a small family looking for a kid-friendly retreat tucked into the Smokies.


The Space
The spacious main bedroom features a California king bed. The second bedroom has its own screened-in private deck — a quiet retreat all its own. The living room has a queen sofa-sleeper and a gas fireplace that gives the whole cabin a warm, cozy glow. The open kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances and everything you need to cook and gather. Two flat-screen smart TVs — one in the living room, one in the second bedroom — keep everyone entertained when you're ready to wind down.


Outdoors
The screened-in front deck is home to your private hot tub, ready any time you need to soak away the day. A washer and dryer make Mountain Memories ideal for extended stays — or for freshening up after a day on the ski mountain or the trail.


Horseback riding is within walking distance, zip-lining less than a mile away. Parking for 2–3 vehicles at the top of the driveway, easy and gentle approach. Secluded, cozy, and closer to everything than you'd expect.

The location felt remote but was close to entertainment and restaurants. The cabin was perfect for what we needed. The host was easy to communicate with, and updated me on some things that changed.

Great and relaxing

Location of property was just far enough off the main road for piece and quiet, but also close enough to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Hope to stay again in the future.

Beautiful little secluded cabin

Cabin was beautiful, secluded, had wifi, multiple beds, baths, and televisions, and a very enjoyable hot tub within a screened- in porch.

This cabin was cute and the kitchen was outfitted with dishes. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was nice but did not have any steps for entrance/exit. This property is listed as pet friendly but it does not disclose that they require pet fees, which are not included and are charged later. There was a noticeable variety of pet hair on the ground throughout. The shower was very dirty and drained extremely slowly, leaving you ankle deep in standing water. The screened-in outdoor areas were very dirty, covered in dust and pollen. The jacuzzi is in the main bedroom right next to the king bed and the rug in front of it smelled strongly of urine, which made the whole room smell. The stay was cute and mostly comfortable but could certainly use some attention to cleaning and accurate disclosure of details and expectations.

The host was helpful and responsive. The cabin itself is clean and cozy. The property is close to the main strip but is far enough out to be secluded. The road to the cabin is pretty curvy. The driveway to the cabin is pretty steep and narrow in a couple of places. The driveway is shared with a couple of other cabins and there is a short section of the driveway where you could not pass another vehicle if you met someone going the opposite direction. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and this cabin would be a good choice for most people.

The perfect hideaway

Unlike many cabins in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg, this one isn't packed in a "cabin resort". There was one other cabin within view of this property. Quiet and secluded, but minutes from downtown PF. Also convenient to Gatlinburg, as you are close to the south end of PF. 1 bathroom might be a challenge w more than 4 people, but able to sleep 6 if needed.

Smoky Mtns

We are a family of three and comfortably enjoyed our time at Mountain Memories. The beds were comfy, plenty of dishes and cookware. The stove had a malfunction, but Debra was quick to respond. We easily could get to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the National Park from this location. Warning… the drive way is steep!

Just what we needed!!

My husband and I say in the area every year in November for our anniversary. I was so pleased with this cabin because it was just the right size. It was cozy and comfortable. It was also more secluded than other cabins that we have stayed at, that is always a huge PLUS.

Super cute & cozy cabin!

The cabin is even better than the pictures and REALLY close to Great Smoky mountain national park. There was plenty of space for my husband, 3 & 6 year old, and myself. It was nice to relax in the hot tub after long days of hiking and exploring. The lack of reviews on VRBO had me kind of nervous but there were tons of people that filled out the guest book at the cabin so I guess people just don't often leave reviews. We had an excellent time and would definitely recommend this place!

Great cabin for a getaway

My husband and I rented the cabin while in the area for a wedding. It was cozy and clean and pretty private. The bed was super comfortable and the jacuzzi was great! The only issue we had was the internet went down for almost 2 days due to a major Spectrum outage in the area. Debra was very responsive and kept us updated. If we’re ever back in the area, we’ll definitely stay again.
