Casa Sparviero A is a characteristic and welcoming two-story apartment that covers the entire top floor of a villa surrounded by meadows and by green hills. It sleeps seven people. From Casa Sparviero A you will enjoy a marvelous view of the Tuscan hills and of the vineyards. Casa Sparviero A is 150 square meters (1615 square feet). It features a shared swimming pool, a nice private terrace, a shared garden, winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be roughly 2 km (1.2 miles) from the medieval hamlet of San Donato in Poggio, where you will find restaurants and a grocery store.
Casa Sparviero A is located on the first floor. You will reach it from the garden going up an external stairway which consists of approximately 20 steps.
To stay at Casa Sparviero A you will need a car. You will be able to park it on the premises, in a parking lot. Please note that access to Casa Sparviero A is along an 800-meter (half-a-mile) unpaved road. Villa Sparviero is on a farm that produces wine and olive oil. You'll be on the green slopes of the rolling hills, where the hilltop offers views of the ancient medieval village of San Donato in Poggio. You'll be surrounded by Tuscany's typical panorama: rows staked with grapevines which produce the famous Chianti wine, green olive groves and woods.


The farm is comprised of a building where the owners live and a separate villa, which dates to the 1600s and has been restored for travelers. The villa is divided into two apartments: Casa Sparviero A occupies the entire upper floor while Casa Sparviero B is laid out on the entire ground floor. The two apartments have seaparate, independent entrances. The guests have a beautiful swimming pool and garden available for their use.


The kind owners can organize dinners and Tuscan cooking classes. Breakfast can be served on request. In spring you can participate in the lavander harvest and in autumn you can help with the grape harvest and the olive picking, if you'd like.
Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is 6 meters (20 feet) large by 12 meters (39 feet) long, from 1.50 meter (5 feet) to 2.50 meters (8 feet) deep. The area is equipped with a table, chairs, sun umbrellas, sun loungers and an external shower. It is partly shaded by a wood roof. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a gorgeous view of the surrounding vineyards and of the hills. You will share the pool with the other guests staying at the complex. The swimming pool is open from the beginning of June until the end of September.

Garden
The garden is 10000 square meters (108000 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by olive trees. It is equipped with tables and chairs. Here you will also find a brickwork barbecue. From the garden you will enjoy a fascinating view of the valley and of the vineyards. You will share the garden with the other guests staying at the complex.
Laundry room
You will be able to reach the laundry room through an external access. Here you will find a washing machine at your disposal (please note that use of the laundry facilities is not included in the rental fee and must be paid locally).  Terrace
The terrace is 15 square meters (160 square feet) large. You will be able to enter it from the entrance hall. It is partly shaded by a wood roof. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a nice view of the Tuscan countryside and of the hills.
Living Room
The living room is paved with terracotta tiles. The ceiling has characteristic exposed wood beams. The furnishings are rural and characteristic of the Tuscan house, and include some antique pieces. The furnishings include sofas. There is an age-old and impressive fireplace. The room has a window with a view of the countryside.
Dining Room
You will be able to enter the dining room from the living room through a brickwork arched opening. The ceiling has characteristic exposed wood beams. The dining table can accommodate seven guests. In this room you will find a grand piano, for decorative purposes only. The room has a window with a view of the greenery and of the hills.
Kitchen
You will be able to enter the kitchen from the living room through a French door. It is equipped with a five-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, an Italian-style coffee-maker and a toaster. The dining table can accommodate four guests. The kitchen has a window with a view of the greenery.
Bedroom 1 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the second bedroom through an access area. The bedroom has a wrought iron matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The room has two windows with a view of the greenery. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer.
Bedroom 2 - a pass-through room
Important notice: members of your party will need to walk through this bedroom to reach the first bedroom. You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the first bedroom and from the living room. It has a wooden single bed (80 cm/32 inches). The furnishings include two armchairs and a desk. The room has a window with a view of the garden.
Bedroom 3
You will be able to enter the third bedroom from the kitchen through an access area. The bedroom has a traditional wooden matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The room has a window with a view of the greenery.
Bathroom
The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a shower. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the kitchen through an access area.
Top FloorBedroom 4 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the fourth bedroom from the kitchen climbing 16 steps. It has two wrought iron twin beds (80 cm/32 inches). The room has a window. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin and a toilet.
