Tucked among towering pines just 9.9 miles (a scenic 20-minute drive) from downtown Prescott, Bear Tree Lodge offers the perfect blend of seclusion, comfort, and adventure. This beautiful 4-bedroom, 2.5-bath cabin accommodates up to 10 guests, making it ideal for families, friends, or a peaceful getaway.

Main Level Comforts

The main floor features a spacious Master Suite with a King bed, flat-screen TV, desk with monitor, and direct access to the eastern patio—perfect for morning coffee or sunset wine. The luxurious en-suite bath includes a Garden Jacuzzi tub, walk-in shower, dual vanity, and generous storage.

Very private and dog run is great for medium to large dogs my little ones just went under gate. Great place. If you have pets take 2 covers at least for love couch and large recliner rocker.

Mountain get away

If you’re looking for a place to get away from everything look no further. Most of the family have homes in the mountains of CO and they loved the location. We often have family get togethers but usually in the city. We would definitely keep this location for future trips.It’s a bit tricky to find but well worth it.

Lovely cabin

This was a wonderful trip but too short as we had to leave halfway through for an emergency. The one night we were able to stay was great. The cabin is pretty well equipped. The games are fun for all. It was very peaceful and quiet with deer nibbling nearby. Great for the whole family.

Inaccurate Location and Listing

The location was 10 miles away from the VRBO listing. In addition, it required 4 wheel drive to navigate the dirt road to the property. We reached out to the host and they stated that these details were sent separately in an email; which my email blocked. The host was a Management Company and wasn't helpful when we reached out for clarification

When I’m not working on cabins and helping guests, you’ll usually find me gardening, caring for my birds, or playing pickleball. I love the outdoors, nature, and creating cozy spaces where people can relax, reconnect, and make memories with family and friends.
Prescott has been a special part of my life for decades, and I enjoy sharing its forests, wildlife, mountain air, and small-town charm with visitors from all over. My goal is for every guest to feel comfortable, welcomed, and at home during their stay.

I chose Highland Pines because it offers the peaceful mountain atmosphere that so many people are looking for when they visit Prescott. The neighborhood is surrounded by tall pines, cooler temperatures, and beautiful forest scenery, creating a relaxing escape from city life.

What I especially love about Highland Pines is how quiet and serene it feels while still being conveniently close to downtown Prescott, hiking trails, and outdoor activities. Guests can enjoy nature, wildlife, and fresh mountain air while still having easy access to restaurants, shopping, and local events.

For me, it’s the perfect balance of comfort, beauty, and true Arizona mountain living.

Bear Tree Lodge offers a peaceful and secluded mountain setting where guests can truly relax and enjoy nature. One of the most unique features of the property is the large fenced yard, giving families and guests traveling with dogs plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the outdoors safely.

The property is surrounded by beautiful natural boulders and tall pines, creating a classic Prescott mountain atmosphere that feels private and tucked away from the busy world. Guests especially enjoy gathering around the outdoor fire pit in the evenings to enjoy cool mountain air, conversation, and star-filled skies.

Bear Tree Lodge combines privacy, outdoor space, and natural beauty, making it a perfect retreat for families, couples, and groups looking for a true cabin experience.
