About this property

Lake Quinault, gateway to Olympic Peninsula and Olympic National Park

Timber Haven is a one level newer home, with three bedrooms that sleeps 10 people. All but two single beds are 14 -inch memory foam mattresses for your best comfort with addition to down comforters are available. There are two full bathrooms. This home has a large living, dining room, and kitchen area, all with a spectacular view of the mountains that surround the serene Lake Quinault, with open space views of the lake as well. There is a full length of the house deck with a large portion that is covered, with patio furniture and propane heater as well as a BBQ grill. This is my favorite area to listen to the Bald Eagles screech and watch them soar above the lake and perch high on the timbers along the lake shore. For your convivence, this home is a perfect location to explore all must do and see areas during your stay. There is lake access just 150 yds at the boat launch, where you can picnic, swim, kayak, sunbathe, have campfires and watch the everchanging sunsets.

My family moved to Lake Quinault for the love of the area in1975. I graduated from Lake Quinault High School, married and raised a family of three daughters who all graduated from Lake Quinault High School as well. Our love for this wonderful place generated from generations of both sides of the family who also lived, schooled and raised families here. With our love for nature, the great outdoors and wildlife, Lake Quinault has fulfilled all our desired activities and tranquility of our relaxation needs. I am fortunate to be able to share this spectacular vacation area of Lake Quinault and Olympic National Park with people from all over the world and provide comfortable clean accommodations to our visitors. My greatest joy is to continue to share this amazing place with my family and my five grandsons. They all say that life is a dream at Lake Quinault!

Why they chose this property

Timber Haven is located in the Olympic National Park and a beautiful temperate rainforest with recorded world largest trees, fern beds, dripping moss and worlds largest variety of mushrooms as well as aboundance of wildlife. For such a beautiful place there are a minimum of accomodations for the amount of visitor in this area. I offer four seperate comfortable clean homes for guests to stay and have a chance to really enjoy our area. It will be unforgetable! Centerly located for exploring the Olympic National Park and Olympic Peninsula

What makes this property unique

Available property to buy on Lake Quinault has always been scarce due to the boundaries of Olympic National Park, US Forest Service and Tribal land. We own the two houses across the road from Timber Haven home had been renting them as a vacation home Since 1996. Over the years our business grown and we had established a successful business. Timber Haven was my personal residence and in June of 2020 we renovated it into a third vacation rental.
The loop drive around Lake Quinault is spectacular! Drive is very scenic and great for wildlife viewing, Mountain and river viewing. The world's largest spruce is located on the grounds of the rain forest resort. Kalaloch and Ruby Beach, just 30 min. Dr North
You will benefit from a central location on the water, be within10 minutes from hiking trails and 30 minutes from ocean beaches. Also, 1 1/2 hr from Forks, WA (twilight series location). Also located in route of the Olympic Penninsula loop drive to Kalaloch and Ruby Beach, Forks, Port Angeles, Squim, Quilcene and Hood Canal.
