About this property

Under Rachael’s Wing

This is a great getaway house just 1 mile from the river! Perfect place to go canoeing or trout fishing. Located only minutes from the trout hatchery and the famous Bennett Springs. The house has 2 queen size beds, 1 full size bed and a set of twin size bunk beds. We also have a roll away bed and a queen size air mattress available for use. The living room features a gas fireplace for a cozy romantic setting, WiFi with satellite and smart TVs. If you would rather relax outside, the hot tub located on the back patio is the perfect place to do so after a long day canoeing, fishing, or exploring. We also have a fire pit if you want to make some s'mores or just hang out and relax. The food plot located behind the house gives visitors the perfect opportunity to spot some deer or turkey. It may not be as fancy as some of the other rentals in the area, but it's our home away from home for our large family and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
There is also a camper plug available on site for more guests or for your own camper/rv.
Majestic Views Floats of Missouri has been great to work with us if you're looking to float the river! If you give them a call they will usually send a van to the house to pick you up and then drop you off when you're done!

This was the perfect property for our large group to stay for the weekend. There was plenty of room for all of us and it had everything we needed. It was a great location that was pretty close to the river for our float trip.

Driveway is very sketchy to enter the highway. Overall it was what it said it was. Convenient location for proximity to floating. Cleanliness was not immaculate. Specifically the floors and showers.

We loved the proximity to our preferred kayak location. It was perfect for nine family members with room to spread out and to come together. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities. Although we did bring all of our own spices and condiments they did provide for anyone who forgot anything. we didn’t take advantage of the fresh eggs at three dollars per dozen because we brought our own from our own chicken coop. The only downside I saw to the property was the size of the kitchen. I guess we had too many cooks in the family and there wasn’t a lot of room for all of us.

The property is very nice and private with a great location near Bennett Spring. Great amenities and the host was very easy to contact. I left something behind and he was able to get it back to me. I will be coming back here with my group in the future.

Great place to stay. Near to Bennett spring just a short drive. Place is exactly like show in pics. Very clean and nice. Plenty of parking for 5 to 6 trucks. Will definitely stay there again in the future.

Bennet Springs Retreat

Close to Bennett Springs got trout fishing. Great place to stay with the family. We enjoyed our stay and will be back in summer for a float trip.
