Mountain View Retreat is a large luxury cabin in a private setting with plenty of space to enjoy time with your friends and family. This is the perfect cabin for large groups with 6 large bedrooms (4 of the bedrooms have en suite bathrooms. Two bedrooms share a full bathroom). The cabin has 180 degree views from the decks and yard. This beautiful 6 bedroom, 5.5 bath log cabin in Pinnacle View sleeps up to 20 (12 Adults and 8 youth - see bedroom description)! On 1.84 acres with gorgeous 180 degree Mountain views from the decks and yard. Features include an open floor plan on the main level, hardwood flooring throughout, cathedral ceilings, a huge wall of windows, fireplace, custom upscale kitchen with granite counter tops, rec room with a pool table, media room with theater seating and 65' TV, large bedroom suites, walk in closet, whirlpool tub, hot tub, and 2 levels of huge decks! In a very nice and prestigious area.

Each over-sized bedroom has a king bed and great views. The spacious living room on the main level has a fireplace and plenty of seating. The main level also has a large well equipped kitchen which it perfect for entertaining or baking cookies! The dining room, bedroom with attached bathroom, 1/2 bath and a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer are on this level as well. On the upper level you will find the theater room with 65' TV, blu ray and surround sound. 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms are upstairs. The entertainment room, on the lower level, features an arcade multiplex game, pool table, foosball and air hockey as well as a Play Station 2 and many other games. This level has a bedroom with en suite bathroom with Jacuzzi tub, 2 additional bedrooms and another full bathroom. In addition to the theater room, there are 8 flat screen TVs, several DVDs, another Blu Ray and a VCR if you feel like watching a movie or your favorite show with others or privately!

Mountain View Retreat has beautiful outside areas to take in the majestic mountain range! The large hot tub on the deck in enveloped in breathtaking views! You will be delighted by the close up views of the National Park and Smoky Mountains visible throughout the cabin and property.

Beautiful Cabin and 5 Star Views

This cabin is absolutely gorgeous. We stayed for my bachelor party and really enjoyed the fire pit at night, along with playing pool, arcade games, and cooking top of the line meals. This place was clean and comfy from the get go!

Christmas in the great smokies!

Overall my family had a wonderful time, we visited Dollywood-it was overly crowded, we also took the ole Smokey moonshine tour. Well worth every penny!!! We took a few hours on Main Street and enjoyed the scenery! The cabin……the driveway can be challenging when the ground is wet-as it’s very steep, however there was plenty of parking. When you walk in the door you are welcomed by amazing views thru the large living room windows. Very spacious rooms throughout the house. The kitchen had a few issues- not enough kitchen linens for the amount of people and time spent there if you plan on cooking meals daily. The kitchen faucet spigot sprayed water everywhere when turned on. The house has plenty of dishes and cookware. Lots of refrigerator space upstairs and downstairs. Definitely be have to mindful when using the furniture- it’s not very sturdy both in the dining room and living room. The clothes washer and dryer is of the larger size and worked great for our big family- and when the dryer broke on day 4 the host was very responsive and offered a laundry service! The lady bugs were everywhere but surprisingly no one got stung by them!!!!! I would definitely come back and stay for another week!

Only thing I had about cabin outlets had tape some of them and railing on top porch looks like it wasn’t to safe.toilet on main floor bathroom was broken and I think this should be checked out before our stay, I don’t what to take out f my stay to list of thing that need done. Nice cabin and location just needs some TLC.

Why they chose this property

I love this cabin for the "in-the-mountains" setting and views of the majestic Smoky's from every room. It's secluded and private in an upscale area where all the cabins/lodges are on at least 2+ acres so you are never looking into another house. There is an entrance to the Smoky Mountain National Park (The Greenbrier) which is located about 2 miles from the house. Also 5 minutes away is Climb Works Ziplining park, golf courses and bike rentals. I love that Downtown Gatlinburg is a scenic, easy 11 mile drive...I personally love the idea of being able to join the crowds in The Village and retreat back to the serenity of Mountain View Retreat after a long day of sightseeing. Dollywood and Pigeon Forge attractions are also an easy, 18 mile scenic drive away.
