Perched on a wooded ridge top, this spacious, Amish built cabin is the ideal place to sit back and relax with friends, family, or just your better half. Named for it's weathered, log-like exterior, Ashmoor Cabin has shared hiking trails on the property that circle around to the hilltop, and wind down to a small creek, the scenery is sure to inspire.

This cabin is also at the epicenter of the Hocking Hills region and all that it has to offer!

Great place to stay! We really enjoyed the cabin and loved that it felt secluded and peaceful while still being close to a couple of nearby towns. The owners were excellent with communication and made everything easy throughout our stay. We had a wonderful time and hope to come back again soon!

This was the perfect getaway for two couples. You really feel secluded surrounded by nature. The hot tub was awesome after a day of hiking!

This property was perfect for our little getaway. Just the right size with everything we needed. It was homey and comfortable. The kitchen had all the things we needed to make a few meals, including a crock pot! The only thing I would ask them to add would be some throw blankets in the living room but honestly they thought of everything else!

The cabin was beautiful, beds were very comfortable, we enjoyed the hot tub. It was peaceful and relaxing. Everything was as described on listing. However, the weekend we stayed, the WiFi didn’t work that well, the tv buffered so much that we watched a movie on DVD.

A real escape from the busy, noisy city life. Remote place to relax and reset everything. Hot tub was amazing experience for our tired and streesed body and mind. The cabin is more than enough ... if the idea of relaxing is living life away from technology,..this is the perfect place. No cellphone signal, and wifi is weak. No tv and no annoying phone calls to disturb your vacation. Just you and nature.

Immaculate cabin nice and secluded in the woods. Everything you could possibly need including a Crock pot or in the cabin. Host was only contacted for the purpose of trying to extend our stay. And they answered immediately. My only suggestion to Future guest. Make sure you pay attention to the email directions. Without them. I would have never found the cabin.

Cozy little cabin in the woods ! You can relax in the hot tub after a long day of hiking , or warm up by the outdoor fire pit or the indoor fireplace . All the necessary amenities were in place . Great place to stay !

Overall it was a good stay. The inside was very clean. The beds are not very comfortable, we tried both, one was a little better than the other, but overall our sleep quality was poor. The hot tub was cloudy, so we did not use it and the cover is in very poor condition and needs to be replaced.

This was a pretty nice cabin for four adults to stay in the area. Very secluded in the middle of the woods up a one-track gravel drive. We were about 35-40 minutes from either Athens or the Hocking Hills trails. Everything in the cabin seemed nice and clean (we didn't make use of the hot tub). Wifi is just a mobile hotspot with low speed, but that gives you a chance to enjoy watching a DVD or reading a book! Hosts left us lots of guides to help explore the area!

We had great weekend. Good clean cabin. Take some dvds if you still have some the internet is a little slow. There are some cabins close by but it’s still private.

This cabin was wonderful for our little family of 3. The personalized note with recommendations was such a nice and helpful touch. Very clean, very relaxing, very cozy. Beds were so comfortable, kitchen was stocked well with simple supplies, the hot tub was perfect after a long day and for a nice quiet cup of coffee in the morning. We didn't want to leave!!!We will absolutely recommend this spot, and stay again in the future. Thank you for having us Nick and Shannon!
