Welcome to Blue Ash Cabin – a spacious, three-level retreat tucked into the woods, offering comfort, privacy, and a well-appointed setting just minutes from Hocking Hills and Wayne National Forest.

With two full bathrooms and multiple sleeping areas, the cabin is ideal for families or small groups. The main level includes two private queen bedrooms; the open loft features a king bed and a twin daybed; and the lower level includes an additional enclosed queen bedroom.

The main living area features vaulted ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace, and an open layout that flows into a large, fully equipped kitchen—perfect for gathering and entertaining.

The finished lower level provides a second living space along with a small game area featuring foosball and darts, offering a great spot to relax or unwind in the evenings.

Step outside to enjoy the 6-person hot tub on the elevated deck overlooking the wooded hillside. The outdoor space also includes a Blackstone griddle and a fire ring—ideal for cooking out or winding down after a day of exploring. The spacious decks are a great place to enjoy morning coffee or a quiet evening.

Need-to-Know Info:

The cabin is located on a gravel road that is slightly steep, bumpy, and winding but manageable for most vehicles. Lowered vehicles may bottom out. During winter weather, AWD or 4WD is strongly recommended. Snow removal is professionally handled as needed.
Starlink WiFi is available throughout the cabin.
Cell service is best with AT&T and T-Mobile. Verizon is more limited and can make calls difficult, though texting and WiFi calling typically work.
The cabin uses well water. It is safe to drink, but guests who are sensitive to taste may prefer bottled water.

Less than 5 minutes from Wayne National Forest and about 20 minutes from Old Man’s Cave and the Hocking Hills trail system, Blue Ash Cabin offers a great balance of convenience and a quiet wooded setting.

We had a great last-minute stay before the school year started! The rental was clean and had everything we needed. Directions from the host were clear and easy to find, and the amenities (hot tub, Blackstone, foosball, and two bathrooms) made it super comfortable!

Perfect place to stay! Nestled into the woods for great morning coffees on the deck, relaxing hot tub dips after hikes, & fun games onsite! Cabin was very clean & communication with the host was punctual & thorough. Loved using the blackstone as well. Do be prepared to drive about 20mins if planning to hike in Hocking Hills or getting groceries/eating out in Logan. Have no complaints & would stay here again!

About 20 minutes is pretty typical for getting around the Hocking Hills area, and one thing we really like about our location is that Lake Hope is also only about 20 to 25 minutes away. Cabin was amazing for our hocking hills hiking experience. Close enough to trails and towns. Hot tub relaxing after a day of walking. When we had a question about it, Lee was at the door within 10 minutes to help us! We would definitely stay here again!

Very cozy, convenient cabin! We loved the hot tub and time spent outside on the property. Bugs were not an issue due to pest control. The AC worked great in the hot humid summer time. The loft and basement were so fun for my kids. I loved how many cozy nooks there were with the balcony table, walk out basement hammock swings, and front porch rockers. Beds were very comfortable as well!If you've ever had well water you will recognize the iron taste and smell; so I do highly recommend bringing bottled water if that will bug you. Also, don't forget beach towels :)

We loved staying here. The place is very well-kept and clean, new and sturdy, and the hot tub is a welcome feature. Host was responsive when we reserved and during our stay, and we had no issues while we were there. Will definitely be looking here again!

This cabin was perfect for our family of 7. The cabin was well organized and labeled making settling in easy being able to find all the light switches and things in the kitchen to prep meals efficiently. Best hot tub on the market along with the appliances. The livingroom kitchen area had a large window so you can see into the whole downstairs while using hot tub which is wonderful. I loved the washer and dryer. I have triplets which made our stay much nicer after hiking days. Also being able to do a load of laundry before returning home is a must on family trips. The kids loved the game area it will keep your kids entertained at all ages ours range from 7-17years old. Nice fire pit area with enough seating for all of us plus a couple more. Beds were really nice to sleep on which we have found hit or miss when coming to hocking hills. We plan to return next year to stay. This cabin was so much easier than previous ones we have booked in years past. The driveway was an easy one to navigate even a car could navigate unless it's winter time I'm sure everywhere in this area requires 4 wheel drive. Don't hesitate just book this one. The mom in the house will love you for picking this for your stay.

My family and I stayed in the Blue Ash cabin for 4 nights. We made tons of memories and the set up was perfect. A few activities to keep us busy right at the cabin including the fire pit hot tub, giant jenga, Sega genesis16 bit, and a foosball table. Also many places within 20 minute drive to have a great time whether you’re hiking, going to a giant bounce house Or renting a pontoon boat with a slide for a few hours. It is all within a 20 mins of the cabin. Blue Ash feels very secluded and private. Highly recommend downloading off-line map of the region because cell service is a little rough to get in that general area. Also keep an eye out for the cabins name as the address may take you bit further down the road. Nothing to worry about while at the cabin because the Wi-fi connection was great. Plenty of space to park if you do it right. We were able to fit 4 cars and still had space for another. The hosts were very responsive anytime we needed something or had a question. Highly recommend this place if you’d like to visit Hocking Hills or just like to get away and be surrounded by nature. Here are some photos to check out if your thinking about booking a fun trip!
