Beautiful, nicely furnished, centrally heated and air- conditioned, ( Geo-Thermal) Private home on 44 acres with views of Lake George and the distant mountains of Vermont . Perfect for family reunions and business retreats. Swim in Lake George from the sandy beaches of Veterans Park or Rogers Park in town just 2 miles down the hill.
Huge, very well equipped kitchen with new stove that includes air fry for those large trays of chicken wings.
Coffee corner in kitchen with combination Keurig or drip coffee, electric tea pot and coffee grinder plus a drawer full of assorted K cups and sugar and creamer packets .
Large 50" flat screenTV in Living room upstairs and 40" in family room downstairs plus flat screen TV in master bedroom. 2 Queen beds in master, 2 twins in each of the other 4 bedrooms plus 1 twin in family room and a bunk over double futon for overflow. Gates on all the stairs to protect the children. 2 cribs and 2 toddler beds plus 3 pack-n-plays and 2 high chairs.
New extra 20 cube refrigerator in the garage.

Enjoy the BBQ on the deck while the children play games, basketball , CORN HOLE and soccer or badminton on the lawn. If it rains there's ping pong room plus a pool table and foosball table in the game room with a bar and extra refrigerator…. and always a quiet corner for reading...

A circular pond stone fire pit in the backyard is a great gathering place for roasting marshmallows in the evening.... the true mountain experience with all the fun and beauty that Lake George has to offer.

Easy Hiking trail marked with orange tape starts at the woods behind the wood shed and goes to the top of the mountain behind the house... all on my 44 acres. At the top, there’s a beautiful view to the west looking over to Cat and Thomas mountains on state lands. To hike to Cat and Thomas mountains there’s a trail head and parking lot just 5 driveways down the street before Edgecomb Pond.


Lake George offers many activities . There are Boat or jet ski rentals and parasailing at Chic's Marina or rent a canoe or kayak from Lake George Kayak right in town. You can get on the Mohican Steam ship from the town dock and tour the lake. Or take other steamships from Lake George Village 9 miles to the south at the end of the lake.

Great Escape is 20 minutes to the south and Adirondack Extreme, a rope course in the trees, is just a few minutes down the road. In winter we are just 30 minutes from skiing at Gore Mt. And just 20 minutes from West Mt.

Great property in a great location

This property is great for a group outing. Spacious house with plenty of room for our group. The property is fairly secluded with a private driveway but Bolton landing is just a 5 minute drive down the hill. Large deck perfect for group dinner and a beautiful view of lake George.

This was a wonderful property for a large gathering. It is secluded and rustic. Good Wi-Fi connection and most everything you would need. We played badminton, large connect four, pool, basketball and enjoyed the backyard fire pit. We did some boating on the lake and some whitewater rafting. Beds were comfortable. Note that most beds are twin size. There’s a grocery store in town which was convenient. Plenty of room in the house to find alone time.

Perfect lake house

Everything was great - enough beds for everyone, multiple bathroom, plenty of blankets, kitchenware, etc. The fire pit was our favorite - spent hours out there - lots of s’mores and laughs!

Just perfect!

We had an amazing time staying in this beautiful house. There is so much room for many families and it is fully equipped! The owner even stocks up the toilet paper, paper towels, foil, zip locks, garbage bags, you name it! Great location and super private!

Great property!

My wife and I made a last minute decision to attend a wedding reception in Bolton, and found this great house! There is a ton of room and things to keep your family entertained, but it’s close enough to town and great hiking trails that it’s easy to spend the whole day out and about. We plan to come back with family and fully utilize the property!

This house and the owner were outstanding. The house is big and beautiful, better than any photos can show. The owner was very accommadating, friendly and did everything to make this sorority reunion terrific.

Great private house near Town of Bolton Landing

Close to all attractions. We loved Rogers Park, Rogers Rock Park & camp ground with boat launch and larger beach there. Sagamore was great with pavilion restaurant an A for food and service! Bolton landing had some great shops and restaurants too. Some of the group went to Fort Ticonderoga and a museum. We would have done the castle tour and garden tour but ran out of days! Only wished we booked a log er trip! Great fire pit and gorgeous views of lake off front deck. Very comfortable nice house for a crowd! Made a nice family dinner in the well equipped kitchen

Another Fantastic Vacation at Hickory Hill

This was the second year that we vacationed here and it was fantastic! Not only is the home gorgeous and spacious, but Joyce is a pleasure to work with. Lake George fishing trip

A bunch of Dads/uncles and their sons/nephews getting away for the annual fishing trip. Great location and a great house for that type of trip. Plenty of room for 8 adults. Everything was exactly as advertised.

Why they chose this property

Located above the town of Bolton Landing on 44 acres , very private. You can't see any other houses from this house. Truly in the mountains, yet very convenient to town and the lake activities. The huge stone fireplace contributes to the Adirondack experience. I've traveled to this area since I was a child.

What makes this property unique

Because it has 3300 sq. ft and 2 stories the adults can be upstairs while the children play downstairs or outside... and there's plenty of things for them to do, badmitten, volleyball, basketball, soccer, ping pong , pool table or any other games in the back or front yard.
