The place was very clean and comfortable, tastefully decorated in classic charming Vermont style. Great for families. It has everything one needs to have a great getaway. The hosts even left us a little gift basket which was so sweet . Convenient to downtown Wilmington and amazing restaurants nearby!
Ellen was wonderful to deal with, kind courteous and prompt. The property was very clean and exactly as described. Comfortable and well equipped, we truly enjoyed our time here!
This home exceeded our expectations. Perfect layout, comfortable in every way and close to the wonderful town of Wilmington. Communication with the owners was top notch. Highly recommend this property!
Lovely cabin, plenty of space for 5 adults to relax and unwind for the weekend. Prompt, clear communication from the hosts, wine, hand sanitizer, and wipes on arrival was a nice touch! We love Lake Raponda, but haven't been up in many years...loved that there are loons on the lake now! Would stay again!
We are so grateful to have found this property when planning a long weekend with family. The house was warm and cozy, clean and had everything we needed. We did have an issue with water, but the owner was very responsive and helped to troubleshoot and set things right as best they could.
Had a great time up in Vermont for my daughter's 30th birthday get away skied a couple days of Mount Snow. Ellen was a nice host didn't really have to communicate too much everything was in place and we had a great time. Careful on the driveway and iced up one night and we were sliding down to the road luckily Ellen had snow melt buckets on the porch.
We were looking for a cozy place with a "cabin" feel but all the comforts of home for a ski trip. Ellen's place was clean, comfortable, had all the needed ameneties, felt very private and quiet, but was also easily accessible to town and mountain. Furthermore, Ellen was very responsive and went out of her way to make sure we had a great time. We'd love to come back again.
We had a wonderful stay at this comfortable and well located cabin. It is easy to relax when everything is exactly as it should be. Comfortable beds and bedding, plentiful towels, fully stocked kitchen and very spacious and comfortable sitting area. We especially enjoyed the deck with the grill and gas fire pit (there were many burgers and smores made) and also the convenience of having an outdoor shower. Lake Raponda is beautiful and both the association dock and town beach were very easily accessible. We also went rafting with Zoar Outdoor which was a huge hit with the whole family and only 40 minutes drive away and also enjoyed a day trip to Mass MOCA. Ellen was a fantastic host and responded quickly to any questions and did her best to be helpful. The reliable WIFI was great for when we were relaxing. The town had good grocery and restaurant options for our family. It was our first visit to this area and we loved the breathtaking green views all around.
Great internet service to keep our teens happy, lots of the little odds and ends that make your trip easier, friendly and easy to communicate with owners, location tucked away in the woods but still close to Mt Snow, restaurants, etc. don’t miss the NMK ramen truck!
Spent a long weekend here and was very pleased. The location is just a short drive away from mount snow and the neighborhood by the lake is beautiful. Ellen was very responsive and helpful and the house had everything we needed!
Ellen’s property could not have been more perfect for a group of 6 skiing at Mt. Snow for the weekend. Ellen was very responsive and there were no issues during our stay. The house is clean, cozy and organized. The location was great too to get to the mountain and grab groceries / take out. Would stay here again!
The property is conveniently located near the lake and a quick drive from Wilmington. The house is charming and well taken care of. Our only recommendation would be to add a dishwasher. But, other than that, we had a lovely time and would highly recommend it.

I totally agree with you, Lori and Jordan!
Looking to juggle appliances around and add a dishwasher as soon as possible. Thank you for your kind words. You were wonderful guests!
We were a little worried because the photos in the listing are mostly winter oriented, but it turned out to be a wonderful summer place. Lots of outdoor seating, a grill and a gas fire pit table. The lake is a 6 minute walk down a wooded path, and was clean and clear and lovely. We were able to keep socially distant from other families at the lake, and got to swim and kayak and float, and we saw a bald eagle circling low on our first day. We went for a night paddle and saw shooting starts while floating almost silently.
