We had a great vacation getaway!

Although our stay was just a couple of days, it was enough to know that we will be back. Everything was great. In addition to the ocean and all that Hilton Head has to offer this condo had a beautiful pool. We were traveling with our toddler grandson who loved that the pool even had an area that was 6”-8” deep. There is something for everyone to enjoy or just sit back and relax at this well maintained property.

Great place for a getaway

My sister and I met for our yearly gettogether on Hilton Head and this property was perfect. Clean, convenient to beach, and in our favorite area, Palmetto Dunes. A small glitch in picking up our materials when nobody was in the office and it was not in the lockbox was remedied with a phone call and trip back to the office. All was well.

Very clean. Great location. Needs updating.

Villamare is a great place right on the beach and close to amenities. The unit was very clean but needs updating. The king bed in particular sagged in the middle and needs to be replaced. The kitchen was not well outfitted. Overall I would recommend but suggest the owners invest a bit of money to bring it up to an acceptable level.

Pleasant stay

The condo was immaculate; however, as the week wore on, more fell apart. The toilet paper holder fell off the wall at least three times. The screens to the balconies refused to stay on their tracks. But the issue that Villamare HAS to address is the issue of children two, three, and four years old playing in the hot tub even though there are three signs posted. Teens and adults could not get in the tub many, many times. One adult tried to talk to both the kids and their parents; they totally ignored her and began making fun of her. It was ridiculous!

Loved the villamare did not enjoy the condo

I would not stay in that unit again. I paid a lot of money and the shower backed up had to have someone come and fix there was black mold in the kitchen cabinet because the water from the shower leaking in there when too many people showered at at the same time the water got cold. The towels that were given to us were either new or cheap because we had to wash at least 4 times which still did not do the trick they shed white fuzzy all over your body and soaked absolutely nothing up. Unfortunately we were so close to pond we couldn't sleep with doors open because of the frogs. I loved the villamare but extremely disappointed in our place and would not recommend

This condo was clean and up to date. However, for that amount of money and the # of people the condo can hold, there should be an ice maker. There were two ice trays only. There were no sheets for the sofa bed and very old blankets. We could not have slept more than the 4 we had. We had trouble with the TVs but Vacasa did send someone to handle quickly.

Ocean View Condo in Prime Location

The location of Villamare is premium. It is next to the Marriott and a quick 3 min drive to Shelter Cove in gorgeous Palmetto Dunes. (Take an Outside Hilton Head Beachcomber tour with Capt Pipi!) We were not expecting an ocean view, but you could clearly see and hear the waves from the balcony and family room even though this is one of the back buildings. The pool/beach access was immediate. The unit is close to the elevator for easy loading. We found the condo very clean, and even though the hard surfaces are dated in shades of tan, they have been well maintained. (Toilet paper holders both need repair.) The layout is weird with a garden tub in the middle of the master BR shielded by a curtain, and there was only a half partition but no door for the kids toilet, but if you can ignore those oddities, you will be pleased with how huge the bedrooms are. The kids each had a double bed and plenty of room to spread out their belongings. We could hear our upstairs neighbors in the master BR walking, opening their patio door, and scrapping/bumping furniture. When the wind increased for hurricane Ian, there was an intermittent rattle all night, and we could not sleep. We brought in our balcony furniture but perhaps the neighbors did not. In spite of the imperfections, this was one of the best vacasa condo experiences we’ve had in HHI.

Relaxing Getaway

Nice location

The condo was very clean & the master king bed was very comfortable. The unit isn't oceanfront, but there is a view of the ocean. The pool is large & the hot tub is kept hot which is nice cause it was too cool to use the pool. There is also a decent gym in Villamare which has treadmills, ellipticals & bikes as well as some weights. We enjoyed our early December stay.
