Lakefront home with private beach & unbelievable sunsets on Lake Keowee

“The 808 on Lake Keowee” offers the opportunity to melt away all levels of stress with one of the best panoramic views of Lake Keowee. It is also the absolute best spot on Keowee for fishing! We have underwater fishing lights that bass and catfish love!This home is a quiet escape but only minutes away from dining and shopping and just a short drive to the Clemson University campus. This professionally decorated house is perfect for spring/summer vacations, attending Clemson University activities, viewing the changing leaves in the fall, and snuggling up to the calmness of the lake in the Winter. A private beach area and magnificent sunsets are guaranteed to please.

The dock is an ideal area to experience a serene, early morning quiet time, as well as the opportunity to witness a "front row" view of a sunset containing colors of pink, purple, and blue. A covered porch with a television offers the perfect place to grill and relax in the evenings, after a fun day on the lake.

The master bedroom with a king size bed, offers the calming view of the smooth early morning lake scene. Bedroom 2 offers a queen size bed that is comforting and relaxing, with an attached bathroom. This home has a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer. A custom bar area is the perfect place to keep your beverage ingredients as you enjoy your time at "The 808". The stairs lead to a spacious loft area with both a queen size and a full size bed . This loft is a nautical-themed area for kids, as well as adults, to have their own space. Both loft beds have a great lake view. The custom made, well-stocked kitchen, meets the needs of fixing a picnic basket for your day on the lake, as well as preparing dinner as you enjoy a relaxed evening.

Lake Keowee Marina and Tiki Hut are within view of the backyard and just a short boat ride away. The Lighthouse Restaurant is a 15 minute boat ride that offers an indoor restaurant for nice dining, as well as an outdoor area for dining that is more appropriate for your fun lake day attire. If you choose, you can spend a day hiking to several locally-known waterfalls that are just a short 20-30 minute drive.

Great house and perfect for small families. The parking is tight if you drive a big vehicle but there is ample room to park across from the property. Great location near everything in Seneca. We would definitely consider another trip and really enjoyed our stay.

This was our third stay. The house is wonderful and is stocked with everything you need. Shane and Sherry's attention to details is amazing. The location on the lake is wonderful. We love the dock, lights and island for fishing. We have caught numerous fish right there on the property. This is definitely our go to house for trips to Lake Keowee! We already miss it and can't wait for our next visit!

We had a wonderful stay at the 808 and would absolutely come back! The house was clean, comfortable, and in a fantastic location. The dock was one of our favorite features, and we really appreciated having access to the kayaks and all the thoughtful extras the host provided. Communication was excellent, and everything was exactly as described. Honestly, if we could, we’d move in tomorrow! Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing lake getaway.

Very nice clean lake house with all the amenities. Loved being able to host my local family and cook. The kids really enjoyed swimming in the lake with the beach. Even though the weather was rainy they still had lots of fun.

We had very relaxing vacation. The house is beautiful. The lake is peaceful with a gorgeous view! It was so convenient that the owners had a nice pontoon boat that we rented from them. Much nicer than a boat you would get from a marina. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots and pans for cooking. The hosts are so nice and very helpful if you have any issues. We will absolutely rent here again.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this lot and built our house here because of the magnificent open view of Lake Keowee and the close proximity to the lake. The neighborhood is quiet as well.

What makes this property unique

This house is apx. 25 yards from the lake. Many houses for rent on Lake Keowee require you to walk a longer distance to enjoy the lake. Many are positioned on a hill and the guests have to maneuver steps and steep inclines, in order to get to and from the lake. Here, the back deck and the dock walkway are separated by a short distance of stepping stones. When you awake in the master bed, look out the windows and you see nothing but water, feeling instantly happy and calm.

The back deck is covered and has a TV for porch entertainment and relaxation to end a fun filled lake day.
