Very nice gite, pool and gardens

As the title says, there is nothing to complain about with this property. It’s in a good location for visiting the Cognac area and we enjoyed our stay.

Lovely gite with amazing pool & surrounds

The gite was clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed for a very relaxing holiday. In particular we loved the pool and garden around it which is beautifully maintained. A very quiet and peaceful area, perfect for relaxing and getting away from the stresses of working life. Friendly, helpful but unobtrusive host was the icing on the cake. Couldn’t ask for more!

Beautiful location in the Cognac territory

This home is in an old (Pre-Napoleonic) building with tons of history and charm. The terrace looks onto lovely gardens, and a beautiful grassy area, that leads down to the Soloire (river). Thoroughly modern inside and tastefully decorated - all the modern conveniences and very comfortable. If you are looking to explore the region, Nercillac is quite central to interesting places in the Region (the town of Cognac is quite close, so is Jarnac). There are Chateaux to explore everywhere! When you come back, there is the lovely pool available for a refreshing swim! Our hostess Letitia was extremely gracious, and very easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this home!

Wonderful and relaxing

What a wonderful place to stay! We have just finished a 2 week stay here with our 7 and 5 year old boys. The whole place is completely beautiful. The pool is big, and very well equipped with loungers, sun umbrellas etc. We spent so many hours relaxing and enjoying our time by the pool. We had many plans to visit places but many of them we didn't make as chilling by the pool was better than a day trip! The gite itself is lovely, a very well equipped kitchen, lovely French furniture and comfy beds. The best part of the gite was the private river island-we ate breakfast on it every morning and then loved doing a family nature walk each morning spotting kingfishers, frogs, grasshoppers and many more! We had some wonderful trips to Vallee de Singes, boating in Cognac, chateau de enigmes..but the best part of the holiday was this Gite. Laëtitia and family are wonderful and helpful, and they had some lovely trips. We would have loved some of these insider ideas written down in information in the Gite, although there are lots of leaflets. Our boys LOVED all the toys, especially the table football, and adored playing with the owners little girl. Can't speak highly enough of this place. It's relaxation at its highest. HUGE thank you.

Nous avons passé un séjour génial malgré la météo qui l'était moins, hehe. Déjà, niveau communication, tout est toujours clair et transparent, et ce, dès la réservation. Et une fois sur place, toute la famille s'est montrée accueillante, prévenante et disponible.
