Perfect Purple Palace Folly Vacation Apt A

Have fun watching Folly go by from the large private balcony; settle in with a drink on the cozy outdoor sofa and enjoy the sights and sounds of our beloved hippie surfer beach town we refer to as the “Edge of America”

Inside each apartment you'll find luxurious furnishings, including a comfy leather queen size pull out sofa for added sleeping space, a flat screen TV and cool vintage artwork to play up our hipster vibe. The open floor plan invites use of the well equipped kitchen with custom cabinets, all new appliances and generous granite counter space, uniting the banquette and living area to make preparing meals and dining in enjoyable. The coffee maker takes ground coffee and has a cleanable filter, and a disposable paper filter can be used if desired. Both bedrooms have a king sized bed with quality linens, bedside furniture with adequate reading light, a flat-screen TV and custom furniture cabinetry.
Outside, the live oaks and magnolias shade the back parking area reserved for you to park one vehicle. You'll be just a short walk away from Folly River Park and Folly Pier, where you can fish, crab, catch a meal or shag-dance with locals. Each apartment has a beach cart and two chairs available to use when you're ready to head to the beach.

We are dog friendly! We have a one-time pet fee per dog: $125 up to three nights, $150 for four to six nights, and $250 for seven or more nights. The pet fee is added once your reservation is confirmed.

PLEASE NOTE THE LOCATION OF THIS APARTMENT IS ON THE 2ND FLOOR AND IS IN THE MIX OF COMMERCIAL CENTER STREET ACTIVITY, YOU WILL HEAR THE NOISE. There is not an elevator. There is a load/unload parking area beside the building. Reserved parking is one street behind the load and unload zone and is a 2-3 minute walk to the building.

I throughly enjoyed staying here for a few days. It was so close to the resturaunts and bars and only a few blocks from the beach. I loved the pricate balcony in the evenings. Definitely would stay here again

Very cool apartment

This place was awesome! Looks just like the pictures online, very clean and walking distance to restaurants, bars and shopping. We would definitely stay here again if we ever go back to Folly Beach.

Awesome property and location

Dealing with the property manager was seamless. The property was in a great location to the beach and “downtown “ Folly. The amenities and decorations were just what we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. Location was great. Walking distance to beach and restaurants. Although the apartment is above a bar, the noise wasn’t loud. Apartment was maintained and clean. The beach chairs were a plus (might suggest a beach umbrella, but that is just a thought). We enjoyed our stay very much!

We are so happy to hear you enjoyed the beautifully decorated and well-kept home. Closing the balcony doors will is an excellent way to enjoy a quite night. We provide white noise machines and ear plugs in case more sensitive guests may want to use them, however, many guest reviews reflect that noise was not an issue when staying at this home and the noise cancelling items were never needed. Beach chairs are a bonus to the home and beach umbrellas can be rented or purchased at local shops. We are pleased you had a great stay and would love to host you again!

This was my family first trip to Folly. This apartment was extremely clean & convenient. We loved being able to walk everywhere.We also loved the porch across the front, great for people watching. We consider this the best spot on Folly Beach!♥️

Perfect Getaway

This was an excellent property to rent. We came into town on a whim and were extremely lucky that the apartment was available. We usually stay on the beach with other families, but for the short stay it was great to be in town. The apartment was clean, well maintained and super comfortable. The outdoor living space was key. I highly recommend it.

Apt was over Bar so noise so loud no sleep until bar closes. Bar had a live band . Place looked very clean but had cockroaches really bad . Apt for party young people . Not for visiting the area and want any peace and quiet

Thank you for your review about our apartment. It is important to note that this review is retaliatory. The guest requested a full refund for their cancellation, days prior to arrival, and this was declined. The guest responded very angrily. We offered a partial refund, above and beyond what our policy states, and the guest changed their mind and decided to come to Folly. We accommodated an early check in for the guest. The location of the apartment is in the heart of folly beach, where the restaurants are located. Our listing description clearly states that this apartment is above a restaurant and there is noise, however, you can see from our many positive reviews that guests state noise was not a problem when staying at our home. The interior of the apartment is quiet and peaceful when the doors are closed, and many guests enjoy listening to live local music from the private balcony on the occasion that there is a band playing. Our home is deep cleaned regularly and we have regular pest control. We had our team check the home and find that the remark about roaches is absolutely false, and once again this review is a retaliation. We have over 30 perfect 10/10 reviews for this home on Vrbo, and it is clear this review is not factual. We wish this guest the best in their future travels.

Amazing Condo

This unit is perfect! There is a bar underneath the condo so the people watching from the porch was great. Lol. But once we closed the doors we heard nothing inside. My dog loved it also! Super easy walk to the beach and restaurants. Really clean and everything was comfortable. Will rent this unit again for sure!
