A wonderful week

We loved staying in this property. It was so close to shops, restaurants and the port of La Rochelle, just five minutes walk. It was great to be able to park the car in the garage. We felt bad that we were delayed due to accidents on the road. Perhaps a key lock box would be better for flexible arrival? The house was so spacious and comfortable. Every detail had been considered. We would very much recommend this house to anyone and would stay again in a heart beat! Thank you very much.

Large house in great location

Our stay was quite long ( 2 months) and our plan was to have friends and family visit during our stay. We wanted 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and to be located within walking distance of the attractions of the old port. This place met and exceeded these expectations. It’s rather unassuming from the street but once inside there’s just ALOT of space, tall ceilings, lots of windows, great light. Downstairs has a toilet, large dining room, well equipped kitchen, large living room, pantry, and a former garage that was great for storing bikes. There’s also a lovely very private garden off the dining room with a nice set up of table and chairs with a small but effective electric grill for outside cooking. Upstairs 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The 2 bedrooms that faced the back garden were especially lovely. We rented a car for a couple of weeks and the rental includes access to a shared garage a short walk from the house. The parking garage entrance and actual space is small. I personally found parking my midsized SUV slightly terrifying but a smaller car or more fearless driver would probably have no problem. Location is brilliant. Close to harbor, close to Marche but on a quiet street so no noise issues. The owner (Luc), host (Arnaud), house cleaner (Stephanie) were all amazing. When Arnaud realized we were walking to the train station with our bags he insisted on driving us. All of our visitors smiled when they entered the house, it’s a lovely place and worthy of 5 stars.

Très belle maison de ville

Excellent accueil de la part de Sofia, la maison est très belle et propre et très bien équipé (lave-linge, sèche-linge, lave-vaisselle, vrai four, four micro onde, cafetière nespresso, barbecue électrique, WIFI, etc...), les chambres sont grandes avec du rangement. La maison est situé au calme mais très proche des centres d'activités (aquarium, vieux port, marché, centre ville, etc...). Seul bémol, le stationnement un peu compliqué, mais en fin de compte la voiture n'étant pas franchement nécessaire vu l'emplacement de la maison, ce ne fut pas très gênant.
