We enjoyed this quiet, peaceful stay right on the Toccoa River. Our favorite place, when my husband wasn’t fishing, were the swinging porch chairs, overlooking the river. The house and beds were comfortable.

Another great stay this cabin is our go to when coming to Blue Ridge. It’s close to all the downtown activities. We love how it’s off the beaten path and there is plenty of wildlife to see! We will be booking this cabin again in the future!

Thank you so much for taking the time to post a review, Joshua!. We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed the location. We look forward to hosting your next stay!
Absolutely wonderful long weekend spent with friends. Enjoyed floating the Toccoa River several times (about an hour from property to Horseshoe Bend). Everything was as advertised and the house was very clean. Had difficulty connecting tv to the wifi, but who cares when you are sitting in paradise. We will definately stay here again if the opportunity arises
The house is right on the river and is refreshing and relaxing to float down. We had a great time!!

Perfect Getaway!
This is our second time staying at this beautiful cabin. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing getaway, then this is your place! We love sitting on the deck enjoying the sounds of the Toccoa River. The cabin is very private with a well stocked kitchen and super comfy beds. WE will definitely book again!
Nice Location, but a lot of stairs. Not for Handicap.A lot of weeds around the river not easy access to get in the river or fish. The water in the house has a very strong smell.

Get away from it ALL!
This was a nice home to spend a couple days. While parts of it were updated other parts were not; not a big deal but some of the house felt quite dated. Overall a great place to stay if you really want to go past the end of the map. We will consider a stay here in the future.

The home was great, the house keeping did not do great job.
Loved the property, house was great. However house keeping did not unload the dishwasher prior to our arrival. There was hair in the shower drain that was not ours. The washing machine wasn’t working.

Thank you for your kind words about the property, Rachael! I’m delighted to hear that you loved the house and enjoyed your stay.
However, I sincerely apologize for the housekeeping issues you encountered, including the dishwasher not being unloaded and the hair in the shower drain. I understand how important cleanliness is for a comfortable stay, and I appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention. Additionally, I’m sorry to hear about the washing machine not working; I can imagine how frustrating that must have been.
Your feedback is invaluable, and I will ensure that these concerns are addressed with our housekeeping team to prevent similar issues in the future.
Thank you once again for your feedback, and I hope we have the opportunity to welcome you back for a more seamless experience in the future.
I chose this property for two reasons; 1. its proximity to the Toccoa river my husband is a fisherman and wanted to try out his new fly rod. 2. Our son and his sweet little family rented a cabin in Ellijay and this was their first time staying in North Georgia. So my husband, myself and our daughter, her fiance and their boys decided to come up from South Georgia to get together with them. The property is beautiful, the fire pit is great for smores, and relaxing after a hard day of climbing the steps of the Amicacola Falls. There was a few minor issues with hot tub and some curtains falling off of the rods, however once i contacted the management they sent out a maintenance person and the problems were fixed quickly. If we're ever staying in that area again, i would definitely attempt to lease this property again.

To summarize, it seems like the owners started off well but ran out of funds to finish. The kitchen and bathrooms are great, as are the back porch and deck. Had a minor cleaning issue, but our cleaning fee was refunded to make up for it. The furniture and decor seem to have been purchased from a grandparents estate or hotel liquidation. Needs better access to the river, even if it’s just a couple of steps. The backyard was a jungle. Provides some privacy at the expense of a limited view of the river. Landscapers came after check in but didn’t help much. Overall it’s a good place for small families, with room for improvement. *Also, not a property issue, but be aware of quickly rising water if you’re in the river. The dam is opened at Lake Blue Ridge a couple of times a day, resulting in a rising and faster moving river that can be dangerous for small children playing in the water.

Seclusion, Privacy, Romantic!
This house was absolutely beautiful! The river and the way nature surrounded us was just amazing. We will definitely be booking again! My only issues were the floor wasn’t really clean, as there was long, curly red hair everywhere. Other than that it was perfect!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was a much needed getaway for rest and relaxation. The house was just about perfect. We enjoyed fishing in the river, reading a book in the balcony hanging basket chairs, having a fire in the fire pit, and the hot tub on chilly nights. The only downside at first was the very bumpy rough road to get there but, after the first view rides, we got used to it. Would definitely stay again.

Great place!
We loved this location. I’m glad I read the reviews and brought my own water for drinking and coffee. The water does have a strong sulfur smell. I can tell they are still improving the property as well. The basement has a tv, couches and half bath that isn’t shown in the pictures. It would be nice if they cleared out some trees and brush that blocks the view of the river. Luckily since it’s fall we could see better than it would have been in the summer. I loved that we were next to an empty lot for the power lines and we couldn’t see neighbors. It gave us some room to explore and fish. Over all the house is great and the couple of things I would recommend are very minor. A new coffee maker is needed, we had to take the lid off the pot while it brewed to keep it from making a mess plus it takes the cone filters rather than regular. Water pressure is doable but too low to use all the fancy shower heads in the main level bathroom. I also would like to be able to hear the river from the bedrooms and the downstairs bedroom had a note on the door to not open the doors because it’s hard to lock them back and the upstairs bedroom had a note to not open the windows. Over all I loved our stay and would stay again.
This cabin set up was perfect for us. The kitchen had everything we needed and was a good layout (we cooked a lot). The soft closing cabinets and drawers were top notch. I will warn you that the tap water has an unpleasant taste. Bottled water is advised for the coffee maker and drinking. The lot itself is flat and easy to drive/explore. The lane leading to the cabin is another story. We had 4wd trucks, so we were fine (never had to engage 4wd, but super thankful we didn’t drive our cars). It is riddled with potholes and several rough patches, though the closer you get to the cabin the more the lane smoothes out. The drive from cabin to Blue Ridge is about 20ish minutes. There is a Dollar General that you can get to in under 15. I recommend using Ingles over Walmart. Most fast food places had incredibly long lines/wait times and were drive through only. Carrol’s BBQ and Mystic Mountain Pizza were awesome. The shower water pressure was great and it had bomb lighting for doing make up. We would definitely stay here again.
Didn’t realize there were so many stairs! My husband’s knees really got a workout!
