We came for a trip to the Ark! This stay did not disappoint! Hosts have a lot of hospitality! We will definitely stay here again if we come back to this area! We loved it here!
The adults enjoyed the country setting; our son enjoyed the pool. While staying there, we visited The Creation Museum, and The Ark Encounter. The Ark Encounter is closer to this location. Bring your hotdogs and burgers, this place has a grill and fire pit.
Martha and Donnie were such wonderful hosts. Our 3 young kids felt so welcomed, we all did. Though the place shares a wall with the owners it felt so private. The pool in the back was the highlight for our girls and the beautiful spacious back yard. The indoor space was more than adequate for our family of 5 with comfortable beds and a well supplied kitchen that meet all our cooking needs.
We finally made the trip to Kentucky to see the Ark and the Creation Museum. We were so blessed to find this cute little VRBO. The owners were very welcoming and gracious. Our daughter enjoyed the pool and we enjoyed the quiet. Tho this is in the country, it was close enough to Ark (10 minutes) and Creation Museum (45 mins). Also, several restaurants and stores. This little place had everything we needed for our quick getaway. We only wish we could have stayed a couple more days. Huge Thank You to D&M :) Hope to be back someday soon.

Not what is expected after reading the advertised description
The place was so welcoming and plenty to keep the grandchildren occupied. The pool, outside games, places to explore and extremely gracious host. We felt very safe.
We had a great time! Beautiful big back yard with lots of outdoor toys and a great pool we all really enjoyed. The owners were great people. Very nice!
The property outside was amazing! The sunsets are awesome! Very clean and well decorated! Martha and Donnie are the best hosts I have ever had! We will definitely be back again and again. It is a very safe neighborhood. I highly recommend this place.
Martha and Donnie are great. Super place for 2-3 people to stay. Sitting by the fire and watching deer in the rolling landscape is a great departure from everyday craziness.
Great country setting the host were good people they made sure we had everything we needed enjoyed talking to host would stay again if ever back that way again.

Pros: we enjoyed listening to music on the touch screen on the fridge. Home convenient to where we wanted to be. Home was clean.Cons: Hot water didn’t work during our stay. Contacted the host. Said a plumber was coming. Plumber never came. Had to take cold showers the entire 3 day stay. Text the host asking for FAIR compensation to agree upon twice (the day we left and about a day and a half later) no response. Reached out to VRBO for a resolution. Host lied to VRBO and stated she offered us a partial refund to find another place and we declined. This was never offered. Won’t be booking this home or this site again. Currently disputing another way. Recommendations for the host: use a professional painter, communication needs to be clearer. I didn’t know the unit was attached. If so I would not have booked. Luckily the man in the suite was very pleasant. Post descriptions of clean up and access in one site so your guest are aware. This rating is coming from someone who has 5 rental units herself. Next time you have an issue please be honest and offer a resolution to your guest.
Very nice and quaint stay. Kids love the pool and the spacious area around property. Host were very friendly when we talked, but let us have our privacy.
Beautiful sunsets and rolling hills. We really enjoyed our visit and meeting the owners. It was a great get away to the country, enjoying the birdsongs, deer in the early evening, and watching the kids catch fire-flies. The ARK Encounter is only 15 minutes away, and we had a blast. Try the local eatery Beans Cafe and Bakery for some good bites.
Beautiful property- county setting. It’s a home away from home with the nicest and kindest hosts. Beautiful road to take an early morning walk. Picturesque scenery that could be placed on a jig saw puzzle. Saw birds, deer and rabbits. No regrets, would stay here again!
The hosts were great! Super friendly, welcoming, and helpful! The property is stunningly beautiful and serene! The house was perfect and clean! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!
