Sintra is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Cultural Landscape category. Many magnificent sites are to be visited.
You will be located 35 km west of Lisbon, 20 km from Cascais/Estoril, 25 km from Ericeira and close to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost lighthouse in Europe.
The house is 5 minutes from the ocean by car where the beaches are magnificent, some of which are popular with surfers. Large swimming pools are near two beaches, one of which has nautical leisure equipment. Azenhas do Mar has a freshwater swimming pool at sea level. Life has remained authentic: grocery stores, restaurants, fairs, flea markets and markets are nearby.
The “Saloia” region benefits from sunshine almost all year round, which allows beautiful days with pleasant temperatures, even in winter. In summer, thanks to the lush Serra forest, it never gets too hot. The climate is oceanic and extremely balanced all year round.
